I have been using rice water treatments for month and my hair have never been this healthy! I m bringing you footage from the 4 weeks of use and giving you all my current recipe! TAG ME if you try this kayleymellissa Ingredients 1 cup rice 2 cups water Grapefruit Peel (as much as you like) 1 tsp Fo Ti Root TBSP Shikakai extract Steps 1. Wash Hands 2. Rinse rice to remove contaminants (the Yao women keep the rice from this step) 3. Mix Rice and Water and scrub for 5 minutes (up to 10 if ya fancy) 4. Strain out the rice and transfer water to pot 5. Add grapefruit peel, fo ti, and shikakai 6. Bring to boil then simmer for 10 minutes 7. When cooled transfer to container and store in a cabinet for 3-7 days. Application Transfer to spray or squirt bottle and apply roots to ends until saturated. Avoid Eyes. Allow to sit for 20-30 minutes. In the shower before rinsing, give your scalp a gentle scrub. Rinse the formula and follow with conditioner if desired

Shikakai is very benifical to be used on its own also, I remember one of my friends in school who had really hip-length-long and thick hair said that she washed her hair once a week with Shikakai. Her hair was so black and shiny plus thick. like her one braid was size of my three or four braids bundled together

I m confused about why anyone would want to boil something before fermenting it, since boiling would kill off the natural bacteria in the mixture. Seems like the fermentation would be much more effective without boiling, but the women who invented it do the boiling.

Wonder why they dont boil the rice in water. hmm. Regardless, its room temp water, right?
Ahhh she just said they do boil it. I would think so because thats how you get the strongest amount of starch/benefits out of the rice.

so awesome. I've been waiting for this video: ) Do you think you could use a mix of brown and white rice to garner the benefits of both? I would love to hear your expert opinion on that. Your hair looks amazing!

I m sorry, but I have a lot of questions about the recipe:
1. What kind of rice?
2. How often should you apply?
3. How much did the ingredients cost?
4. How many servings does the recipe make?

I wonder if I could put the rice and water in my stand mixer and let it mix for 5 mins bc I am really not trying to scrub rice by hand for that long lol. But I guess that s part of the process!

I bought from Viori and they charged me for an order I didnt even make, so i would be careful. Other people have said the same thing happened to them and they seem a bit sketchy.

Is this method color safe? I just got some really nice deep purple put in my hair and I'm very scared to try new things that might make it fade or rinse out faster.

Been waiting for this since your last video! I also literally returned my air wrap after fighting with it for almost a year and then watching your video
