Giving myself a hair makeover with no cut and no color! Trying out a bunch of trending hair styles that I love to try and find a new lewk for myself. I'm also talking about my hair insecurities and how I find inspiration along the way! pixelstopearls: LOVE the curls in #3, but I'm also here for the straight hair in #1. That one gives me flashbacks to the celebrities I used for hair inspo in high school (and who I was probably crushing on looking back) in the 00s. My hair is thick and wavy, and it took me so many years to figure out how to work with my natural texture. I tend to be impulsive when I get bored with my look, so these are good tips to keep in mind when I get the urge to chop it off.

Also I just realized while most people recharge by being out in nature or at the beach I recharge by being with animals. I'm really really missing the aquarium and a rescue farm I used to visit. I have a cat and she's awesome. But I love ALL THE ANIMALS. I always have and I always will. So my sweetheart of a husband took me to petsmart to buy cat food and made a big deal of looking at ALL the creatures. He made sure I saw every snake, bearded dragon, Betta fish and hamster, mouse and rat. He's not an animal lover and having him encourage me was amazing. And one hamster saw me and came running over to say hi. She put her little paws up on the glass and we had a moment. So I encourage everyone to find that thing that recharges you. For my husband it's playing guitar or video games. For other people maybe it's baking or getting lost in a book. Go discover what makes your heart happy.

I don't feel like I ever had anything against my hair. I like it most of the time and people say I have nice hair, but. I had very low self-esteem for most of my life and I never really did things that made me feel more pretty or girly. I felt like the girl who had nice features, but nothing stood out about me. For some reason watching your videos got me excited to try new things that I always wanted to do, but didn't because I felt like I didn't deserve it.
I don't know if it makes sense, but like I said before, watching your videos got me started into self-care and I am eternally grateful with you and your videos.
It started with hair, then skincare, and now I am eating healthy and exercising because I love myself and deserve nice things, not because I hate myself or how I look.

I loved the chat you had with the first hair style. I have wavy boarder line curly hair but I grew up in the 90s/early 2000s so everyone had their hair stick straight. Anytime I wore my natural hair people would make comments about me not fixing my hair so I got self conscious about my natural hair which is so sad! I m 30 now so I ve learned to embrace it and my daughter has even curlier hair than me and I m doing my best to teach her to love her texture and take care of it!

I love this video! I have been feeling the same and actually just cut my hair really short and got highlights for this first time to switch things up (and make it impossible for me to continue wearing my hair in a bun all the time. I love all three of these looks. I never used to be able to curl my hair and had given up but then found your videos. They have been so helpful!

I love the 3rd one best, partly because it gives very early T-Swift vibes, but mostly because you were so happy with it! I'd love to see another attempt at the 2nd one. Also, I think this is the first hair makeover video I've ever seen that didn't involve cutting or dyeing! Thanks for the revelation that we don't have to actually change our hair to change our style.

I really appreciate the timing of this video on a personal level. I'm currently in a hair rut and have essentially given up on it. I throw it up in a claw clip when I get out of the shower and just let it dry and usually toss it in a pony or bun in the morning. I can't say I'm coming out of my rut because of this video but it does make me want to try.

Something that's important to me is to take inventory of things and be like is this making me feel good? And that often means getting rid of clothes that I actually DON'T like anymore, or getting rid of hair accessories I don't wear or whatever. If it doesn't make me feel good, it's getting in the way of stuff I actually like.

Any tips for doing hair with longer or fake nails? I have very short nails and whenever I put on gel extensions or slightly longer nails it's super painful when I braid and they catch or they get caught and pop off. You always have good nails and do loads of stuff with hair, I am very inpressed
