When I was about 15, My Grandma gave my Mom a set of Hot Curlers. I think my Mom only used them once or twice? But I loved them and would use them a minimum of once or twice a month, till I was about 18 or 19. My hair is naturally; a soft-red, thick and wavy so it takes curls really well: D. I had short, to shoulder length hair back then so it had a tendency to take on a Marilyn Monroe retro curl. I absolutely loved it then and still love that style. I'm now 33 and my hair is just past shoulder length. I recently found those old Curlers. After watching this, I'm thinking I should try them out and see if I can't recreate that look again

beautiful Please do more short hair videos. i cut my waist long hair to about as short as her hair 6 months ago and i've been pretty lost with it. i miss being able to try out all of your looks. these are great and came at the perfect time i'll totally be rocking the second one on Thursday i have some serious practicing to do, because i really haven't gotten the hang of curling my short hair. but sticking with just curling the ends is some great advise. thank you for being you you're wonderful at teaching and such a lovely soul. :)

I've been watching your videos and recreating your hairstyles for more than three years now. a few weeks ago I have had my hair cut and donated the braid to an organisation which makes wigs for children without hair. so now I have about the same hair length as your friend and am very excited to try more styles and hopefully see more videos on this topic from you. Love all the hairstyles. I have short hair almost exactly like hers but I can't use a 1 3/4 curling iron as my hair doesn't hold curls so instead I use a 1 inch curling iron and the curls fall over time and I get the same effect as you would with a larger curling iron. The trick is not to use very thin sections otherwise you would end up getting Shirley temple curls.

Yesss, my heart sings whenever you do short hair tutorials I always need some Kayley Melissa styles to hold me over until my hair is long again. I'll definitely be trying that retro wave asap, I been feeling so classic in my style lately and that matches perfectly.

Look #2 was my fav: ) I love how you make additional suggestions like if your hairs longer, do this, or if you had a pretty broach, you could use that. Its very helpful and makes the tutorial more relevant to a wider audience, which is a great touch: )

Can you do some quick like 5 minutes or less hairstyles? I usually only have time to brush my hair in the morning and put it in a ponytail if I want, but I want to do something different with it that's easy and not too complex.

Hi Kayley, could you do a video for hair that is in that awkward phase? My hair isn't short yet I wouldn't consider it long. plus it doesn't help that I never have enough time to do my hair. Please help Thanks and much love

when I read the caption, I thought, OM goodness she chopped her beautiful long blond hair all off P. S, never go for the big chop. I had hair down a little past my waist, I chopped it off short, and I really regret it.
