In today's video and I am going to creating a full set of transfer foil nails OMG How cool is that? So, first of all, we've got the wonderful Kate with us today and I have already prepped three of her nails, but I'm gonna also prep the last few. So I'm gonna take the free edge down on her index finger and also push down the cuticles. Now I'm gonna file down the cuticle area with the electric file and prep it ready for form application. So, I'm gonna wipe over the nail with a bit of Gel Residue Wipe Off Solution and I'm also gonna dehydrate it. Now, I'm gonna go over all of the nails with the Urban Graffiti Base Coat and the apply a form each of the nails. I don't need to prep and sculpt Kate's other hand because she has already done great job of that. So, the next thing I'm gonna do is put a bit of the Gel Residue Wipe Off solution in a dappen dish and then apply a blob of the Plush Peach Acrygel to each of Kate's nails. I'm gonna now mould the Acrygel and create a set of nails. After doing this, I am going to wipe off the sticky layer of each of the nails and then I'm gonna file and buff those bad boys into shape to make them nice and smooth. I'm gonna also give them a quick wipe over with acetone. The next step I'm going to do is cover all of the nails in a layer of Serious Black, but do not wipe off the sticky layer after curing, you need that for the foils. So, always clean off the back of your nail foils with gel residue wipe off solution, this really helps the foil to stick. Take your chosen colours and go to town on them nails. random as you like. Then use the Urban Graffiti Top Coat, which has no sticky layer I might add. Now I discovered something really cool on the next step, so make sure you watch the whole video to see my surprise. Love this long video. I always find it quite interesting the differences in language. The British say anti-clockwise, North American says counter- clockwise. The British say, Adhere, pronounced, A-dear, North American say adhere, ad-here British say for let, North Americans say for rent. The British spell car tyre, North American spell it tire. The British: , colour, flavour, behaviour, harbour, honour, humour, labour, neighbour, rumour, splendour) In American English (color, flavor, behavior, harbor, honor, humor, labor, neighbor, rumor, splendor) This is just a small example of many words that are different. The Canadians ( like me) mix them up, I get into trouble as a Canadian spelling words both ways living in the USA. lol

That's the issue I've had with doing 4 in one go either the client has kept knocking one or 2 or I've touched 1 as I'm going along gets so annoying I started doing 2 n flash curing then doing another 2 lol was quicker than having to keep putting them right N me n foil dnt get on I can never seam to get it to work no matter how hard I try

Kirsty, these nails you've created for your client are Fan-Damn-Tastic What shape are your own nails and what delicious color did you use to paint them with? The bling is outta this world gorgeous I'm in heavenOh, and the mattified nails reminds me of a Banksy art. the one you recreated with the bricks, for some reason.

I'm in the US so we're all kind of Heinz 57 but my mom side of the family was 100% Irish we're all from Ireland and YOU LOOK IRISH that's why I asked thanks

Kate is so sweet She's a wonderful hand model It's amazing how different the matte and shiney finishes looked. I'm glad Kate decided to keep both. Could you get the same effect using a matte top coat; or is it necessary to buff out there shiney top coat to achieve this effect? Loved this video Thanks so much

Wauw this is really pretty nails. I was surprised when you buffed the nail and saw how beautiful it also was. Almost like awesome graffiti painting I must try this. Love your products. My favorite nowAnd when can we see Adam, he is absolutely my favorite cameraman with all his good comment

I have seen clear forms so the LED light goes right through and cures everything. I have grey forms so I like to give the nails another minute in the lamp without the forms so the light cures underneath. Just in case I would hate there to be a weak point where it hasn't cured enough

Was it just me or did the matte foil nails remind anyone else of comic books? Like you could paint or stamp a Super Hero or a Villain then on the other nails due matching foil colors add a POW, or BANG. Like the old school comics. Just thinking it would be popular look

I guess I am old fashioned. I absolutely hate matte nails. Only in 1 or two times have I liked it. But I MUCH prefer glossy nails. Just like I like shiny cars. Can't stand matte cars, either. I'll never understand the matte trend. It looks dull and unfinished to me.

I LOVE. no. I ADORE Kate's accent. It reminds me so much of the woman from Penny Dreadful. If you've seen the show, you'll know what I'm talking about. If not, go watch it. It's a wonderful series and the woman I refer to is the one with tuburculosis.
