In today's video, we are going to be creating a wonderful black and white, almost skeletal aquarelle flower design using a variation of the aquarelle technique So, for the background colour, I'm using Serious Black and we only have to do one coat of this because it is highly pigmented and covers the whole nail in just one coat. OMG How cool is that? We are then going to topcoat it so that we can buff over the nail and make it nice and matte so that the paint will grab onto the nail easily and then we are going to wipe over it with gel residue wipe off solution. Now, we are going to mix a wash using the white acrylic paint and then we are going to start painting the flower using the aquarelle technique to help give it that almost watercolour effect. Starting with the petals and then ending with the stem of the flower. finally, we are going to topcoat this and there you have it. That is how to create a Jellyfish Flower using the Aquarelle technique

Please use this technique to make something other than flowers. Although this design is very beautiful, (i love the whole xray look it's got going on) I'd love to see how far we can push it, and see what other designs you can come up with using this technique.

Great nail art I agree that gluing the nail tip is more secure than the tack that is usually used. I am wondering what you do to remove the nail tip from the stand without destroying the nail. Thanks for your tutorials

It made me think of an x-ray I would LOVE to see a full set of halloween nails using this style. Ghosts, skulls, fog/smoke, etc. That would be amazing. Love your work pretty lady Love your nerdiness Adam

x-ray. We used to set flowers in contrast for the evening and then try and come up with a technique that would show them up. Some of them turned out like this. (I'm ancient: this was back in the 70's)

Stunning yet again I am in love with this technique I might even use a few tiny silver beads in the center. But it would be a difficult decision, as it's so beautiful on it's own.

I love your videos so much but I feel like its unnecessary to put that youre curing the gel polish. I know its only a couple seconds but I feel like we dont need that there
