Marble Design using Blooming Gel - If this goes wrong it was Adam's Idea

In today's video, we are going to be taking a page out of Adam's book. Quite literally and we are going to creating a nail using his marbling idea OMG How cool is that? So we're gonna start off with Hectate which is a gorgeous purple glitter gel polish and we're gonna do just one coat of that and then cure it. So, the colours that I'm going to use for this design are Cabernet, Barely Fields, Burnt Umber and some more of the Hecate, but I'm going to be using some Blooming Gel. So, start off by doing a layer of Blooming Gel over the nail and them I'm gonna do a thin layer of Burnt Umber and the go over it with the Blooming Gel and then I'm gonna do a coat of Barely Fields and also cover it with the Blooming Gel and finally I'm gonna add the final gel which is Cabernet and also go over it with the Blooming Gel like the others and then I'm also gonna add a layer of Hecate. Now, I'm going to get a design needle and go through the gels to create a sort of marbled effect so it will look like a kind of nebula. This design is really OUT OF THIS WORLD So, once you're happy with it you're going to cure that for a full minute and then we are going to topcoat it. Now, I am going to show you another way of doing it, using only the Barely Fields and Rich Teal and Concrete Kiss colours but the same blooming gel method, but this time we are gonna do a different pattern using the marbling technique. So, please let me know in the comment box below which one you prefer. Do you prefer the spacey nebula nail or the aquatic lost city of atlantis nail?

I am shocked that all those coats of gel polish didn't wrinkle up when cured If I put gel polish on without it being very, very thin it always wrinkles. And that was something like four to six layers of gel polish, too. That speaks volumes about the infallible quality of Naio Nails Urban Graffiti polishes. Amazing Great idea, Adam

Love this Yay Adam for that creation and to the sublimely talented Kirsty for bringing it to life As usual gorgeous work I adore them both but I am leaning more toward the galaxy nebula nail. Loving that deep rich merlot color with the glitter and the color scheme is gorgeous for this time of year.

Great easy idea as I have a client with shaky hands it's very hard to do art on her, so this will be her next art design and she can still pick her colours. Thanks again Kirsty and Adam for a great video. Luv u both loads xxxx say hi to the girls. Xx

GREAT JOB ADAM I really liked this look. I have been marbling for years now and with the blooming gel I am finally able to layer several colors without incident. This turned out beautifully. Thank you for many NEW ideas

What a great idea Ooooooh I bet if you used different colors, you could do Northern Lights nails These are so pretty, though. the wine colored one is right up my alley. You two are completely awesome

Love these Well done Adam and Kirsty I have a question, with gel, do you use the same curing time no matter how thick the polish layers are? I would have thought the thicker the gel, the longer it needs?
reply

similar to what I was trying to yesterday trying out my blooming gel, I used black white and metallic gold, but failed. don't know what I did wrong? I will try your way tomorrow thank you Kirsty

hi Kirsty, can you talk about pricing for nails, and what should we charge extra for like embellishments or should it be combined in the price of the set of nails at the start? thank you. x

Both are just stunning You make it look so easy. I appreciate all your explanation of your technical process, it helps someone like me to learn a new art. Thank you
