we are going to create two leopard print nails using two different techniques OMG How wild is that? So, first of all, I'm gonna do two coats of Barely Fields on both nails and then I'm going put some of the Butterscotch gel polish onto a palette and we're just gonna take a gel brush and do some really random shapes on the nail. Remember we're not doing circles, just spots so you want them to be kinda messy. Next, we are going to use the Serious Black to outline the spots and make them look more like a leopard print and we are then going to seal it in with the topcoat once that is cured. We are now going to repeat the same pattern on the other nail but this time we are going to be using Rich Teal and some of the polycolor paints for this one, but first of all, we are going to create the spots and then cure the nail. We are also gonna take the other nail, topcoat it and then cure it. Now for the final nail, I'm gonna show you how to get the same look but by using acrylic paints, but first of all, we are going to give it a quick clean with the gel residue wipe off solution so that we can remove the sticky layer. Now we are gonna use the black polycolor acrylic paint and we are going to tap around the spots to create the leopard print effect. We are gonna top coat it twice just like the other one and then we are going to add some metal pieces using the brush on glue and then you are going to seal them in with the topcoat. I like both designs, but tell me which one you prefer in the comment box below and please if you've enjoyed this video, give it a like, subscribe to our channel and share it around and I will see you in the next video Love ya xxxxxxx Kirsty

That base color is stunning. When I first saw it, I thought of a names. I think White Coffee Nugget or Coffee Whit Nugget or Brown Sugar Nugget and that gorgeous creamy brown color you used for your design could be named, Caramel Nugget or Coffee Cake or Peanut Butter Cookie. I love both gel and acrylic paints. It's nice to see the differences and it depends on what color you want to use to go with your outfit if you don't have the color you need in gel polish or in acrylic. One air dries and the other needs a lamp. That makes it so that one you can do quicker than the other.

Both are gorgeous I see the benefits of both. Gel is slightly faster and more forgiving; you were able to edit it/fix it with a swipe without disturbing the rest of the design. The acrylic allows for a more textured look that would be harder to do with gel without flashing after each one. Both are amazing techniques to know and leopard print is never going out of style

Love thisMy most favourite thing in the world, leopard print is just a timeless beauty I thought I would prefer the traditional one with gel polish but I really liked the acrylic paint, or the effect it gave, almost looked like hair or had that fibre effect anyways xx

It was so awesome to see you do the entire design using only the Dotting Tool I love it when you are showing us the different way to use the tools and stretch our own imagination I like both nails, but the one done with gel polish is my favorite.

I really like both techniques. Very different effect, but both very very pretty, and nice. The one in blue with the pieces glued on looks more realistic, but I do like the smoothness of the full gel one too. Thanks for the video. :)

Love both. The acrylic paint technique was one I learnt from a DVD of yours from years ago. It was my first attempt at nail art and I love it. I've often done it in all sorts of colours. I have yet to try it in gel though x
