In today's video, I am going to show you a cool technique so we're going to use some foiling and a bit of sharpie business OMG How cool is that? So I'm gonna first get my tip and do one layer of the Snow White gel polish and while that's in the lamp I'm gonna get my foil out and then wipe over the back of it with some gel residue wipe off solution. So because this foil has a sticky layer we are going to place it directly onto the nail and then you're gonna tear it off and then stamp the nail until it is fully covered in the design. Next, you are going to topcoat it and the cure it. After doing that, we are going to start the fun bit. So I've filled my dappen dish with gel residue wipe off solution and I've got an assortment of beautiful sharpie colours. So what we're gonna do is start drawing over our design with the colours until you're happy with the design. Finally, we are going to take a detail brush, dip it in the gel residue solution and then touch the sharpie with the brush to create this gorgeous pattern. it almost looks like dragon scales. Make sure that it's dry when you've completed the design and then topcoat it and pop it in the lamp

I wanted to ask and this is a good video for my question - I transfer foils onto the sticky layer of my top coat but when i pres once and try to fill the gaps on which the foild didnt stick nothing happens. Im i wiping the sticky layer with the first press or are my folios bad or something else? I've tryed clening them as you do here but with alcohol and the same thing happens. Also when i topcoat the foil it tears to smaller peaces while i go over with the brush so i cant keap big pieces on the nail. Whys that? How can i prevent it? I like the effect but if i want a design with big foil patches i wont be abe to do it. Thank you in advance Kirsty

What are your tips for someone who has never done nails before and wants to design their own to just stick on every once in a while? What should I start with? Acrylic or the gel you use? And could I use acrylic to make larger pieces to place on tumblers and epoxy over them to make realistic eyeballs?

Okay. when you had the markers done I was thinking: She's finally done a nail I don't really care for. Then you began the gel residue wipe off solution portion and I was like: Oh how gorgeous is that? Another beauty Ms. Meakin.

I've found that gel cleanse doesn't work as well as Acetone to get the backing off. I had all sorts of trouble and I tried the Acetone. worked much better. This looks amazing Kirsty Love it. thank you.

Love, love LOVE Quick and easy enough that I think I could even do this on my dominant hand-- without making a decal to transfer from silicone mat to my right hand Brilliant
