So I've realised that I've gone a bit mad over Leopard Print designs recently, but who can resist those cute spotty creatures? So here's another Leopard print design, however this time it is going to be an acrylic design OMG How cool is that? Right, so we are going to be creating a stiletto nail so, first of all, you're gonna get a form and attach it to the nail and then apply a little bit of the acid based primer on to of that natural nail and I'm gonna do a very thin base of clear and then we are gonna break out some glittered acrylic powders. So we have Metallic Gold, Cosmopolitan, Belgian Fountain and some Pure Black as well and what we are going to do is use these colours to build out that nail and create a sort of realistic looking leopard design. So, we are using the lighter colours for the fur and the darker colours for the spots. So, once we've created that design we are gonna encapsulate it with the clear acrylic powder. We are then going to file over and buff it in to shape, wipe over with acetone and we are gonna finish off by top coating it and then adding a little bit of cuticle oil to the cuticle. GlitterismyCRACK: Great video thanx Kirsty. I have a form question. Can you open the back on a stiletto and angle up up instead of down? My nails grow down a LOT on there own and I usually do a Gothic Almond because it keeps my nails straight for a few fills, but if I do a stiletto they are growing down (curling) within 4 weeks. And I really prefer them straight. Also I do remove the nail growth from underneath. Thanx. Luna

I did my daughters nails last night, I just purchased the acid primer, I was using a different brand before, but after preping and dehydration her nail, I applied the acid tone just on the nail I started from the centre of her nail and watch it spread, but she said it was burning her, did I do something wrong or is it she might just have sensitive nails? I'm scared to use it again now lol. I appreciate any help thank you Kirsty. X

Awesome work Miss Kirsty and I would love to own naio products, unfortunately it's way out of my price affordability. I live in Australia where everything world wide is expensive

Would you be willing to do some gel polish designs for short natural nails? Something someone could do at home on themselves? This piece is amazing. It looks like fabric.

I notice you do a lot of permanent nail art when your clients come back for a rebalence do you take of all the product? or paint over the acrylic design?
