we are going to be creating a hand painted silhouette of a dandelion not the yellow ones the poof, poof, poof ones We will start by laying down two coats of Charmed gel polish as our base, curing after each coat next, we will apply a layer of urban graffiti top coat and cure to seal. Once cured to prepare the surface of the nail for acrylic paint we will buff over the top coat and then using a lint-free cloth and gel residue wipe off solution we will make sure to remove any dust from our nail. Now for the good stuff pop a smidge of Polycolor black acrylic on your pallet and add a little water and mix so it flows nice To create the center of our Dandelion use a tapping motion with the tip of the brush, next we will paint the stem of our Dandelion, load up the brush and using the tip pull out from the center in one long stroke, next using the same method do shorter strokes to create the whisps coming out from the center, to create the seeds use dots in a circle around the center, next coming from some of the seeds we have just painted we will create some more whisps going towards the center of our Dandelion and voila a hand-painted Dandelion silhouette Now we will seal in our design using top coat and then curing Fin: D

I adore the design of dandelions gone to seed. One of my favorite things ever, other than feathers. I love that they are both lighter than air and can float away from their problems. This one is gorgeous. Great job. Would love to have this as an accent nail. But unfortunately I cant function with nails of any fashion lengths, so Im sure it would be difficult to get this design to look as gorgeous on the tiny lengths of nails I usually get (and my nail beds are narrow, so I usually have to go for child sizes when I get like press on nails.

ooo Kirsty at 13: 31 on your left shoulder I seen a orb flying down towards your shoulder, hovered a sec around your shoulder near your face then disappeared, I played it back five times to see if it was just dust or a reflection, so then I slowed the footage right dwn n it definitely a orb in my opinion. wow. sorry I had to say something. I know there is alot of ppl that don't believe. watch it back 13: 31. nice nail. then another one comes st your other side diagonal

This is so beautiful. I wish ANYONE around me could do nails/nail art like you. I had my nails done yesterday and it was horrible. They butchered my natural nails and tried to tell me my entire left hand was crooked. I have one crooked finger. Middle finger right hand. the only straight nail she managed. I wish small town Nebraskan nail artist just had a fraction of your talent.

Absolutely LOVE Kirsty's artwork. but I have to say; I also love the music that is played, as well. It's very soothing, relaxing, inspiring, etc. Whoever is picking the music for the video has an excellent ear.

Yes, the yellow and white dandelions are the same, it turns the fluffy way once the yellow part has died and the center opens up to make that fluffy bit that you blow wishes on lol
