Today were recreating a Diamond Nail inspired by Lady Gagas Tiffany Necklace on Fay - you know its gonna be epic Im going to attach my form. Im going to start by sculpting out a thin layer of clear acrylic. Pinch the nail. Im going to do a thin coat of Soft Pastel Lemon across the whole nail. Im then going on to with Beryl over the top, quite thin again. Im going to pick little pieces of the mylar and encapsulate them with clear acrylic. Im creating a bit of a seam with the acrylic and then Im going to flatten it out on the top. Im then going to remove the form and file away with my e-file, keeping the height in the middle and creating a flat top. Use a 120 grit file to file the side walls and the surface of the nail and a 180 grit file to smooth out the surface of the nail and then buff the nail. Clean off with acetone. Im going to cut several diamond shapes out of plastic and use mega gloss to apply then to the nail, starting with the centre piece and pop it in the lamp. Peel the plastic off and add a little bit of transfer foil around the edges. Finish off with bling and cuticle oil

That's absolutely gorgeous Especially when yellow is such a hard color to wear for most women. Yellow gives the illusion that the yellow thing is much larger than the same thing in green or blue next to it. I noticed that phenomena when I was a teenager looking at paint and wallpaper samples to remodel my room. I wanted to paint my room chartreuse/apple green with silver foil wallpaper with a graphic lemon yellow wave and bright white trim and white eyelet lace curtains, with chartreuse and lemon yellow satin ribbons running through the eyelets in the lace edge of the curtains. It would have looked really pretty in 1976. Of course, my mother talked me into something sensible that I considered boring and not my taste-- at all.

Kristy, you are so talented, my gosh it's mesmerizing the way you work love. I learned to do my nails years ago. I find myself wanting to get back into it however I just can't afford it my husband and myself are disabled and neither one of us are allowed to work. So our income very limited. Someday I will, I would love to go back to school. I would just like to be able to mine. Love you, your a gem

I have a very dear friend who's son named his daughter Beryl Dove. Now after hearing this video I will never be able to say her name correctly again. I guess I will start calling her Dovey. You all are just a barrel of laughs. Thank you for all you teach us old Cosmetologist who have nothing better to do.

I don't know when women gonna realized how awful they look with those big claws, nails are cute in a normal shape and length. Not those claws. If I was a men a woman with those jumbo fake nails will be a big and fat NO for me. Period. PK

Need to see Faye using her phone, typing on the keyboard. I think it's impressive that she can do all those things with such long beautiful nails. I use a touch pen for my phone. And my nails aren't too long to annoy me on the keyboard

Wondering- 2: 40, has her skin pulled away from the nail and moved upwards due to her wearing the super length, heavy nails for so long? (I'm thinking the natural nail would toughen up underneath to accomodate them) Just curious.

If someone else does your nails for a video, YOU will turn into a Faye-type client I can see it now: Kirsty getting her ruler out to make sure all nails are the same length That would be a great video

I know it's going off topic but I watched the Oscars and totally agree with Adam regarding Olivia Colemans speech, what a lovley lady, the film is called 'The Favourite' and Rachel Weisz also starred in it.
