were doing a ripped nail look with metallics and acrylic and even a few stars. Im going to sculpt a stiletto out onto Abbys nails. Im going to sculpt it out in clear and add in the stars before the acrylic sets. Encapsulate the stars in clear and pinch the nail. Im then going to do my normal filing routine. Were going to paint Black Metallic as our first layer - this polish can air dry so were going to wait and then topcoat. Were then going in with silver, top coat, red, top coat and gold then top coat again. Im then taking all of my colours, starting with Red and then Silver and then Black and then Gold, going right up to the cuticle and almost marbling the colours together. Ill top coat again. Make sure to keep each layer super thin so you dont bulk up the nail too much. Take a round bit and carve away small rips in the gel polish to reveal those stars again. Ill use different bits for different effects. Top Coat one final time and then add crystals - of course

Hi Kirsty may thanks for another very unsual video, you have such great ideas but could you do something very simple on a couple of nails from start to finish that a starter like myself that 1: can not afford to go to a nail school to learn and 2: for a mostly bed bound person who has bought all naio nails items (liquid solutions, acrylic powders, nail forms, dampen dish nail files ect so I can copy from you but for some reason I can't get the beads to drop off my brush I have looked everywhere for one of your nail charts but can not find them so it's hard to learn so please do an idiots video from start to finish love your work take care cos I care and hugs to your beautiful girls luv Jill (disabled learner) xxx

And the clip at the end, the one with Kirsty bleeding, is why I sincerely hope that nobody ever asks me for stiletto nails. I simply wouldn't ever do them on anyone who has a child or a pet. It's just too damn dangerous. It would be terrible if a child or a pet got an eye put out just because some _fashion victim_ dropped her hand to her side Nope. I won't ever make nails like that. I am big on never say never, but I will NEVER give anyone nails that are dangerously sharp. I simply won't do it.

Important question, what would I do to strengthen my nail beds? I find that the nails will bend further up on the sides of nail beds nowadays, like a quarter inch or just under that (I have stubby nails bc theyre also very thin n weak naturally) and I seem to have developed an allergy to gel polish bc my skin on fingertips get very dry, cracked as well as flare up n itch. Even skin around toes develop bumps. what can I do?

WOW. Everytime I watch your videos its better than the last. I absolutely bloody love this look, I'm teaching myself acrylic and I'm also an eclectic witch so some of the sets I create are going to be on a slightly darker side. and this look is soo beautiful. As always Kirsty a huge inspiration to us all my lovely. already looking forward to tomorrow's video.

This technique is the exact same one I use to do my geode nails. layer all the colors over a glitter bottom layer that ends up being the inside crystally part of a geode. This is an interesting way to also use this same technique. I like it and will be trying it out with these colors now instead of the ones I used for the geodes. Thank you kirsty.

Suzie from Nail Career Education Did something similar a couple of years ago. I cant completely remember what it was but it was the same technique. I love this technique It is so neat The video is called Geode Nails/filing technique. Very similar tech nique just a bit different outcome. Both are insanely beautiful
