Were back with another Aladdin Themed set of nails and today were doing the Genies Lamp on Fays other hand - and she barely complains at all. Maybe my wish came true? Weve already prepped her nails and fixed a small break on her ring finger and sculpting a ballerina nail. For the broken nail, we need to put the tab on its side at the back of the form to make a straight smile line where Fays damaged the nail. We shouldnt have a long nail on the damaged nail but Fay wont let that happen and knows the risk. Im sculpting a thin, clear layer and then go in with my colours to ombre from orange to purple and add in the glitters too. Ill then encapsulate that and file. For the lamp, Im going to use Going for Gold over the entire nail and use Top Coat to draw out the lamp. Cure and then wipe over with Gel Residue Wipe Off Solution to remove the excess Gel Polish. Ill add detail with Brown Owl. Im going to use Snow White mixed with top coat and blooming gel for the smoke across all of the nails. Im going to finish off with bling because its Fay

Kirsty, I have a question that I really hope you'll see and answer. How do you come up with your designs? Do you sketch them out to see how they'll look? Where do you get inspiration from? I am having a terrible time trying to come up with stuff, I can copy designs but I'd like to come up with something on my own, something a bit more intricate than what I can usually come up with. Cheers lovely, and thank you for all these wonderful videos that have been so helpful to me

Kirsty/Adam, Can I make a little suggestion? When Kirsty does these amazing nails and you divide the footage up into multiple parts, could you show some shots of the whole set at the end of the last part please? I know you show some shots of what you've done in each part, but it would be good to see the whole set together. Thanks guys and OMG, this set is amazing Kirsty

Id love to know how much a set like this costs. The amount of work and skill involved is SO MUCH. I cant imagine its less than 150, but if its takes 2-3 hours (easy to do with so many colors and so much detail) itd be reasonable to be upwards of 250-300, which is WILD to spend. Obviously worth it for these but wild nonetheless

Hi kirsty I'm a fan of all your artworks You inspired me. I've been practicing everything you said, sad to say I'm struggling bcoz here in Philippines we don't have that kind of acrylic, form guides, tools etc. I really love doing nails Since I was a kid. Lol. You're an amazing person I wish to be like you someday

It wouldve been an oil lamp. The spell wouldve had a week of cloth that would have burned. Its possible that it would have been more of it in since type of oil then it would have been for lighting. I would have loved to see some gems on the lamp. Embedded in the scroll work.

These are amazing I love all the purple especially. I do agree if you'd added heaps of glitter to them it would have taken away from the overall look. I am far less happy that I now have that give me give me a man after midnight line stuck in my head lol.

Faye, dear, bless your heart If you know what you want and how to do it, get your own stuff and try it at home It's not NEARLY as easy to get what you're looking for as you think, so. Shut it and let the woman work, OK? Love ya, though You are so funny

I'm so jealous I just got my nails done, and it's the worst they have every been, the acrylic is peeling up and doesn't go to the edge of my nail and I paid 75 USD. If anyone knows good nail salons in Seattle let me know, I feel bad about asking them to redo it

Awesomeness, though thats the older lamp. The newest one has a glass that sorta glows? Like windows? Bluey purple? That when it goes to shine, a goldish line runs across. sorta like highlights. just as so you know. lol. Its just more decorative

Hi Kirsty and Adam, first of all I want to thank you for making me laugh every day. I was wondering if you can use polygel/acrygel to form an edgeletto shape nail and if so, can you make a video on that please? YOU GUYS ROCK, love Stef
