Today were doing an infill on my right hand because theyre a mess. Im already fixed my ring finger so were going to ignore that finger. Im going to remove the bling and I have to make sure to support the finger with my other fingers on the same hand. Im using a ceramic bit with a rounded edge for safety. Im using an anti-clockwise rotation and pulling down the nail to remove the colour. Ill then clean up the cuticle with a round bit. Im the going to smooth the acrylic into the natural nail and remove the surface shine. Im going to prep and dehydrate the natural nail and then pick up a bead with the right hand and apply it with the left hand. Ill let that set and then file as normal. Im also going to remove the excess length now I have the support of the apex back and then buff the nail to smooth it out. These are now ready for gel polish but because Im not going that for a little bit, Im going to apply cuticle oil

OK, I must be ambidextrous because I don't have any problems doing my non dominant hand except filing around the cuticle. At one point I thought about using popits just for that and then building out from the edge that I stopped at in the popits. I hate dealing with cuticle work And, I only do my nails Can you imagine if I were doing someone else's acrylic extensions? Not gonna happen, and I'm thankful for that

Have done a few sets on friends and myself but I cannot get the liquid to powder ratio down. No matter what I do it just doesnt look good. But then I dont have good brushes either but it should still work. mostly too liquidy and messy when applied. Kinda like chewing gum but stickier I guess. Any tips. Watches videos on it but cant get it down.

I feel your pain of working with your non dominant hand. I am also right handed and just done an infill and colour change. I hate doing my own nails and it is hard work using the drill with my left but thanks for those tips as I will try them in the future. Your work is amazing and I aspire to be as good as you are one day xx

Hi kirsty I'm a fan of all your artworks You inspired me. I've been practicing everything you said, sad to say I'm struggling bcoz here in Philippines we don't have that kind of acrylic, form guides, tools etc. I really love doing nails Since I was a kid. Lol. You're an amazing person I wish to be like you someday

Literally everyone else: moves their dominate hand while their non-dominate hand holds the file. Me: moves non-dominate hand holding the file and butchers their eponichium on dominate hand. This video is great I love all your tips and tricks. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

Hey Kirsty, can you do a surprise set. I. e. dont show us the final nails until the end. So rather than posting the video showing how the finished set look, put a pic up of you then we watch the video and get so see them really being created, if that makes sense? :-) xxx

What is the key purpose of increasing the speed of the e-file? I do my own nails as a hobby and I've always used it on low. Thank youAlso I really like how you are holding the drill, it looks comfortable -- I will try this method on myself next time

I'm still practicing my non dominant hand. I tend to use forms on one hand and then tips on my non dominant because I tend to move it rather than the brush or drill because I have a bit more control that way. Practice makes perfect. I hope lol.
