I am going to take a suggestion from a viewer and film me cutting down the length of my extreme look nails. I went to Beauty UK and did some stunning nails but they were much longer than I am used to wearing these days. So When I said i was going to cut them down when we did a live stream Q&A, someone said I should film it, and I am glad I did because It may be something that will help people in the future. It was lovely sunny day and Adam suggested we go and do this outside. yes, he is crazy and silly. So I am going to take down my Extreme Stilleto nails to a more manageable Ballerina shape and allso remove the huge 4D flower I created. I hope you enjoy this video and I hope it helps you too. Ok i'd love for help on this question. I've become allergic to acrylic nails. The acrylates in the monomers are the culprit im pretty sure. So i discovered uv gel. Tried, loved it, its been yrs now & i noticed ONLY when alcohol gets on my skin, do i get a VERY dry, cracked & bleeding skin problem. Is Urban Graffiti top coat, uv gels & now the polygels user friendly for people allergic like me? I'd love to buy all these products right now but need to kniw if its safe for me to use. Im so obsessed with her products, i'd forever only by Urban Graffiti but i'll wait til she hopfully answers this question. (From my mouth to God's ears lol.

Hello, I love your videos and even though I only do my nails, family, and friends nails with gel polish only natural nails I find your videos very informative and funI'll be swapping out my current inconsistent products for Naio Nails brands but can't seem to find a lamp on the order website. What lamp does Kirsty use and what can she reccomend to the general public to buy? I currently use a LED 4. 5W lamp from sensationail. It cures just fine but it is tiny Everyone is always hitting their nails on the top of the unit. Any reccomendation would be appreciated. A video educating the public on lamps would be even betterThank you, -Jenn

I could never live with that length, the length at the end is actually extremely long for me. I just had my nails done once and I think it was half that size and it was very uncomfortable for me, y tried to do this but I couldnt so I had to damage my nails with acetone. 8 years later, my natural nails are long and healthy again but it took forever. I think I would trust Kirsty with my nails, but is too bad that shes on the other side of the world I would be the type of client that would be like: Oh, you can reuse that? Go for it. I dont see why not, but I guess is not for everyone.

Is also very dangerous doing the stones yourself with the big nippers i was removing stones around my cuticle and the nippers slipped right into my buttocks OUCCCHHHH But with a client that never happens because i can use my other hand to put my thumb around there cuticle to protect it so if i slip I'm hitting myself instead of their cuticle lol but doing that to myself really hurt lol

When my husband and I got married we tent camped and got married right on the beach of a beautiful lake (South Lake Tahoe, CA. I wanted long nails for the wedding but didnt want to deal with them with the remainder of our camping trip. So RIGHT after the ceremony and lunch reception I immediately went back to camp and pulled out my nippers, files, and polish Lol

Have you have had a client that wants to have real gemstones such as diamonds and rubies into their nail designs? If so how to how do you keep them on the nails. I have a client that her husband owns a jewelry store and she wants to bring in small diamonds in for me to put on her nails. I have not tried to put them on yet as I am afraid that they will not stay.

What a beautiful background for the outdoors. It's nice to see you out there enjoying the beautiful weather. I shorten my nails a lot. It a short cut ti a new shape, like yours, and adding on what ever you want to complete the new look. I really love the ballerina on you. Having longer nails for a short time is okay but like you, I can't do anything.

So I've actually used my drill on the underside to bring down the thickness and reshaped the sides to get the angle back. I do this almost weekly (when i file down and re-design between fills. Any reason I should not do that? I've had acrylics for years and just developed my own methods to get good wear and have them look natural, not a nail tech.

When it comes to cutting down the nails. I start out with tips on my own nails and have to cut them down. I don't currently have a pair of tip cutters, so it's always a struggle to shape the tip so that it doesn't look fanned out and bulky >. < It's a SERIOUS struggle every time lol Takes me forever and I don't always get it right -. -
