Today I m going to make a memorial ring for my mum using my uncle (her brother s) ashes. It s been a year since Uncle Mick passed so I m going to use a ring plate as a base but you could make your own. You can find a plate on amazon or eBay. I m going to start my filing the metal so the product sticks. I m then going to apply base coat. I m going to mix some of the ashes with base coat and scrape it into the ring to make kind of a beach cos it looks like sand. I m then going to use Midnight Skies at the top of the ring. I m then going to use Royal Blood, Azure and Snow White to create the surf. Once the design is done, I m going to encapsulate it with Clear As Day builder gel. I m going to finish with a shiny top coat

Hi Kirsty, I messaged you a couple of months ago (on Instagram. As I lost my daughter (she was only 25) on the 12th December 2019. To say how much I loved how you d encapsulated his ashes in your cousins nails and how I wanted to do that. I love this idea with the ring sooooo much as I wouldn't have to take it off. I haven't been able to bring myself to actually look at her ashes yet! But I hope at some point in the future I will be able to do 1 or even both of these ideas. Thank you

This is fabulous. I have an ashes into glass necklace from my aunties ashes who past 7 years ago. This precious item helps me daily. I'm sure your mum will be so grateful. I think I will use this idea in the future for various reasons. Thanks for sharing. Condolences to all your family. xx

OMG! I'd LOVE to do this for my mom! She wants to be cremated when she passes and she was asking me about interesting things you can get to keep ashes in. I saw one place that puts them in like a glass ball, and I see lots of necklaces and such that I can order. Great video, thanks!

Sorry for your loss, and condolences to your Mum as well. Ashes in jewelry may not be for everyone, but humans have a long history of mourning jewelry. Beautifully done and I sure it will be treasured.

Me and my sister got a tattoo with my dads ashes in the ink but we all have keepsake jewelry too. I think tho is awesome to do tho because the jewelry can be kinda pricey
