AMERICAN VS GREEK MAKEUP TUTORIAL Eleonora: Honestly, during the summer here in Greece, I could not be bothered any less with makeup. I'd keep my eyebrows trimmed and my face moisturized properly with the lightest cream I could find and, other than that, if I wanted to look as if I took some time with my appearance, I would probably use some powder to keep some of the oiliness away, just a hint of blush and maybe some lipstick, but nothing sticky.

Hi Christen, I think the American side is horrible. I am from the US and do a pretty French style makeup using a little more eyeshadow. I wear a red lip or fuschia lip. People tell me my makeup looks beautiful. I buy luxury products, but put it on very classy. I love Nars, Laura Mercier, YSL, Mac, Benefit, Dior, Anastasia, Urban Decay, and Marc Jacobs. The Greek look vs American...the Greeks won.

For the love of God! Why are American Women doing this? It is so dramatic! I never have this time to do do this! I normally do Greek style make up without really thing about it.
I'm making my dreams come true. Getting my Masters in Photography, Building my own castle of filming movies, working and learning how to love my self.

I am an American. I have German, British, and Scotland or Ireland on my daddy's side. Momma is African, Native American and some pacific Islander. I don't like how Americans do make up. I am more natural make-up unless, I want to shine so much people can not take it! All men and woman around the word are drop dead beautiful !!!

What does Cleopatra has to do with Greeks? If you don't know the history of Greek people do yourself a favor and shut up.
PS: you're Greek makeup is a disaster and does not reflect at all the way that us, Greek women, are using makeup!

Late to the party-I-m of Greek and Cypriot heritage and used to do the full shebang when I was younger. These days, I-m more a tinted spf and lip balm. I think simplifying your looks happens when you hit 40. At least it did for me.

Yes!!! The women in my family are all about natural looking makeup, of course the occasional heavier makeup for special events but it-s all about natural skin, embracing the glow from our oily skin, embracing natural brows, lashes, etc

Hi Christen! I am greek and i really enjoyed your tutorial/version of greek makeup. We do like more natural makeup and most of the time we add TONS of mascara lol and a red lipstick if we want more drama maybe with a smokey eye.

Don-t about your Greek origins but you definitely look like a mix of Italian and Mexican, like your face is a combination of Salma Hayek and the italian actress who played apollonia in the godfather :)

Just found you! After watching your comparison videos, I am definitely an everyday Greek/French and when I'm -fancy- Italian/Mexican. Cannot contour or highlight to save my cat tho! - Besos!
