This is so great that you're sharing this with us! And I also enjoy incorporating strength training into my weekly exercise. I really like it a lot and it's been key to helping me maintain a healthy weight. I also agree, women won't get -bulky- from just lifting alone. However body types can vary and some women do tend to gain muscle faster than others. I think a lot of models tend to be more of thinner figure overall and may have trouble gaining muscle. Whereas I know some women their build/genetics enable them to add muscle easily. ps would love to hear about your fitness routine!

I LOVVVVVVE it when women lift weights!!! LOVE IT! And not just light ones, but really heavy weights. Just watched your upper body video as well, and congratulations on the pull ups!!! They're so hard to do. And I'm so happy to learn about the Turkish get-up, because I'm always looking for new exercise moves (I've been doing it for a long time - like, Denise Austin was my first video-tape workout!) and I get really excited when I see moves I haven't seen before. So, thank you!

I loved this!! I started just doing weights and going every other day and I-m loving it. I used to only do cardio but finally decided if I want to get stronger and tone it was weights that I needed! I already see a small improvement and feel great so I-m excited to keep it up. I-m going to add your exercises too since I do a mix of machines, free weights and mat stuff! You rock!! Thanks -

She-s certainly not 150 pounds of fat - muscle weighs more than fat AND the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn. Muscles=fat burners.
I can-t wait to not be sickly preggers anymore so I can work out like this again --

I-m really no workout expert but I was surprised you seemed to be leaning forward with your upper body a bit in the lunges, doesn-t that hurt your back? I immediately feel my back protest as soon as I lean forward a bit too much in a squat or a lunge

Rate of gaining muscle mass can greatly depend on your own physiology. I gain muscle very easily so I dont lift weights in my upper body, I use my own body weight with resistant training
