Hi Emily! You have such beautiful eyes!
Thanks for trying and featuring K-skincare routine!
Here are my comments/tips: after you rinse off oil cleanse you don't have to dry face. You can just go straight to foam cleanse. For traveling, Container store and Miju sell small travel containers to transfer toner, serum, essences, lotion and sunscreen and be TSA compliant. For washing face, I like to use Neogen green tea stick cleanser which markets itself as combo cleanse (2 in 1) sold on Sokoglam.
Lastly, great that you're using sunscreen everyday! It will save you from premature aging (wrinkles). Funny about your comment -even on a rainy day-. Yes! You should wear it year round even on cloudy days!

I tried 10 steps for a month and I wouldn't recommend it. I had awful problems with my skin afterwards as I removed all protective layer from my face. I never had such problem with my skin after that. It took me months to go back to my standard skin condition. My acne was the worst ever and I wasn't able to get rid of it. I stopped using any cleansers, I just washed my face during taking a shower and I was using 1 cream in the morning and in the evening, delicate moisturizer. That's it. I let skin on my face heal itself.

Can I recommend an oil soluble vitamin C product instead of the powder? It-s much more potent and easier absorbed by the skin.
Only a few brands use this because it-s more expensive. Here are a few:
- Sunday Riley CEO brightening serum (15%)
- CIREM Moonglow Face oil (20%)
- SkinMedica Vit C + E complex
(I work in product development so that-s how I know this stuff)
Look for the ingredient -tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate- in the ingredients lists! It-s far superior, and delivers better results :)

I agree with the dryness caused by the cleanser. You already have beautiful skin and all you need to do is maintain it. Cleanse. Moisturise. Sunscreen. That's all. No need to drag all of those products around with you, especially since you travel a lot. They're unnecessary. It's really not Korean beauty philosophy because skin is very personal and individual. Use whatever works for you.

I wouldn't give up the toner, I'd just find a different one. Also, check if your toner has alcohol. If it doesn't, it could be something else that's drying you out, or even it could be a reaction to the fragrance. Toner is important, and there is a toner for everybody, you just have to find out which one works for you and which one doesn't.

Korean here) If you do the double cleansing at night, you don't have to do that in the morning. Washing up only with water is enough in the morning. The 10 step skincare is for evening.
Morning routine: Washing with water - Toner/Skin - Lotion/Serum - Cream (in winter) - Sunscreen - Make-up

In my opinion you really shouldn-t cleanse in the morning at all, especially if you have dry skin! Unless you have super and I mean really really oily skin, but even then a light cleanser should be enough. The oil cleanser is just there to get off the makeup and sunscreen in the evening.

Be careful when people try to touch your hair! And eastern Europe this is where I live it is being sad that people can cast spells & curses using just one hair piece of whomever they are trying to cast a spell on! So clean your brushes carefully I don-t let anybody touch it! Take care!

I don-t know why but this video annoyed me so much! It just looks like she was putting that stuff on her face as fast as possible and then saying she-ll check back in in a couple days. -. I should-ve turned it off halfway through!

how did you identify that the dryness came from the toner? because I do get that same type of tightness lately but I would be completely unable to tell which one of my products is responsible and that I need to stop using :/
