Wrong! If u want to say phillipinos are Spanish please stop - spaniards only mix with Mexicans, Central Americans and South Americans after that conquest no more mixing they learn the hard way. So yes they were in the Philippines but this time they did it different it was just to bring the religion but not to mix. Think about it if we did mix with Filipinos don-t you think that Filipinos would speak Spanish? I mean yes they have Spanish last names but African-Americans have English last names in they are still African-American that doesn-t make them English. You have Iberian because Iberians in French have always mixed. If you look at ancestry DNA from Filipinos they do not have Iberian. non of them do!

Actually your Iberian score comes from a distant Mexican ancestor. Guam's only Spanish settlers were the priest and they were only 5 Spanish priest recorded in the Guam census. What Guam got were Mexican settlers who were majority mestizos and white. In fact you can look up how Chamorros were discovered having native American ancestry which comes from those Mexican settlers. Also chamorros cuisine is Mexican influence. All the so called Spanish influences you guys have came from Mexico. Guam was being controlled from Mexico City not from Spain and all of the soldiers who colonized Guam were coming from Mexico.

Yes I've seen videos were Pacific Islanders have >1% African too but it's always African southeastern Bantu region they get those are the African Pygmys who ventured off and settles parts of Southeast Asia and the pacific islands thousands of years ago so it makes sense they don't give North Africa like you and that's because you have Spaniard admixture many Iberians have some sort of North African DNA again u need to research that's due to the proximity

I have similar results. I'm a quarter Asian Filipino/Spanish/Chinese. and from my mom just Scottish and a little bit Scandinavian which is probably from the Vikings I guess. Explains her really blonde hair and blue eyes and though my dad was half Asian/Spanish mix, i think he had a lot of Irish also from his Grandma. These dna results are so fascinating. Thanks for sharing your results.

I am surprised that you have Iberian in you you are like the first Filipino in any ancestry DNA that I-ve seen that has Iberian blood. It seems that the Spanish didn-t really mix with Filipinos they just wanted to imposes their religion and names so that they can communicate better as well as some Spanish words

Very interesting. Actually if you add the Great Britain and Ireland/Scotland/Wales, that's about 32% Irish. The Europe West is French/German ancestry at 28%, and 26% East Asian/Pacific Islander (+5% Iberian, I agree with your math. Seems fairly close to what your know ancestry is. Thanks for sharing!
