I hated this foundation, this may just be because I have freckles but it made me look like a ghost, even though the shade was actually more tan than my natural skin tone (not the wrong shade just a slight bit more orange) and now I come to that, it gave me a horrible orange tone. This is my first foundation (I'm 13) and now I'm scared to buy a high end one in fear that foundation just doesn't suit me, I don't know If it was me or the product, has anyone else had this?

Thank you You do the best first impressions You actually take us with you and see the true results of the products I have normal/ dry skin so the dew might be nice. I get patchy on my nose my forehead and most foundations tend to settle into my smile lines. Annoying I always have a hard time finding the right foundation. It sucks But I think I will try this Do you think you could review the natural bare skin maybellline? I'd like to see what you think of that one

I recently purchased this foundation and the consistency is really cool to me. I found that it's really nice to apply lightly for a light coverage (which I love) and build up for more. You only need a little of the product because of the formula. Also, I have combination oily skin and this is pretty matte on me, though I was expecting it to be dewy after your review. Over all I like, especially paired with Benefit's The Porefessional.

I wore this foundation for my Prom and my boyfriend said the same thing about the glowing appearance. I asked what he meant, if he meant oily or creamy or just sheer and he said he couldn't describe it because it wasn't gross and cakey, but just glowing and that he loved it So we both loved it, I recommend this foundation. I have oily skin and it never showed that, or gathered under my eyes and by my nose like usual.

every foundation I try the foundation peels, cakes&, cracks on my skin all over and I have combo skin but mainly oily skin so I really do not know why it does this. I have used common foundations like the fit me, dream velvet, instant age rewind, it cosmetics cc cream and more and also I use a real techniques beauty sponge and a morphe y7 brush, I use a good smashbox primer too so I do not know why it does this

I LOVE puppies And Mr. Pukka (sp) Pucca? Puka? I have no idea how you spell his name But he's super adorable. You can just tell he's very well cared for. He seems to be very well behaved also so kudos to both of you for taking such great care of your puppy The foundation looked beautiful on you. I've been wanting to try this foundation and now I know that it IS a good one to buy. Thanks Tati

I almost bought this and chickened out, because I have the rimmel stay matte foundation and I hate it, total cake face, doesn't spread nicely, emphasized all my lines and pores, not to mention I've applied it to exfoliated and moisturized skin and I still looked like cake face and my forehead looked like dead skin central. So then I saw this, and got scared off but maybe now I'll try it

I would've liked to see you use the sponge or at least really attempt to. So we could see how the foundation looks using the tool paired with it and maybe you could've used the beauty blender on one side to compare finishes. I think even if you're not used to it or don't like it, it's still a useful part of the review. Some people want to see the foundation and sponge used together.

I'm tired of seeing YouTube gurus dabbing the foundation with the sponge as if it was a beauty blender. It's not a beauty blender If you read the package the sponge comes in, it says to use it in circular motion on the face, and upwards motion on the forehead. In my opinion, the foundation actually looks better with its corresponding sponge, than any other brush/blender.
