NEW AT THE DRUGSTORE: REVLON

Here are my Unfiltered thoughts on the New REVLON MAKEUP at the Drugstore. Lana Wana: Natasha needs to humble herself. I saw the Beauty News video on her palettes, where they actually dug into the shades and individually weighed them to figure out the weight discrepancies. they proved that she high balls the amount. They suspect that the 2. 5 grams claim was from the original palette, and they just continued to slap it on the label as it continued. until her tropical palette, which by then it was addressed, so she low balled to 1. 5 to avoid controversy. But not all of those shades even weigh 1. 5, while others do weigh more, but still not 2. 5. If she has the nerve to slap that price tag on these mediocre shadows, the least she can do is give you your money's worth in weight.

OMG Black Cherry That is actually kind of a newer version of their classic (now discontinued) Blackberry shade. That was the most shoplifted Revlon lipstick color in the mid 90s, IIRC. It was so popular that at the Walgreens stores in my city (San Francisco, the managers kept this color behind the counter. Many, many, many moons ago, my grandma was way into Revlon Cherries in the Snow. Classic cool pinkish red. That lip powder sounds uncomfortable My current matte lip obsession is 3CE (3 Concept Eyes) Velvet Lip Tint. So comfortable and easy to work with and it wears really well I like it even more than YSL, and it is less than half the price. You can find it on YesStyle and StyleNanda.

I picked up Cherries in the Snow and Black Cherry by Revlon and hated them both. I used their lip liner with them and they still ended up all over my face and came off so easily. Black Cherry is also extremely patchy. Too slick of a formula for lipsticks. I'm usually not one for lipsticks anyways, I much prefer liquid lipsticks. I feel like I have more control over the product with the wand whereas the lipsticks tend to round out after a few uses and you can't get a precise look with them. Plus they feather a lot, too even with a liner.

I love Revlon My first eyeshadow was from them. It was a medium purple frost. I wore it for two years until I bought a purple quad. My mom got it and thought I would like it more. I wish I could still find it but I graduated in 1985. I wore ot in 82 and 83. I think most of my friends borrowed it at least once. It was well loved when the remains shattered I cried.

I've been going through multiples of your videos and it actually made me pick up and try a few products in particular. I went through my make up and realized I'd picked up the Bare Affair back in April. I love it, and I thank you for reminding me of what great lipstick Revlon makes.

I love your lip color. I have a million lipsticks it seems so I'll have to use some of those before I buy any more, but the Revlon colors are really pretty. I have 4 daughters I could also hand down some of my lipsticks to then I could go out and buy some new ones: ) Thanks for sharing.

Tati, could you do an updated review on some Makeup Revolution? I'm really interested on the chocolate palettes, but also other stuff like the blushes etc. I'm growing a little tired of high end prices, so I'm looking into some more affordable palettes. Thanks
