Its the second beauty gurus who have trouble wearing cake mix foundation. And i believe both of them (thataylaa and tati. Look, i get it we should celebrate black owned bussiness, that cater to 30 shade on its launch. But, sometimes when it doesnt work. It just doesnt work. I agree that foundation doesnt need a much extra work to actually work. Or need additional (and much more expensive) fixer to make it work. By the way, she raved about their lip whip. And in everything man made, you cant be good in all. theres gonna be a postive and a negative side on everything.

Haven't tried that one but, experience with tacky thicker formula foundation has been best with way too much practice. I could not get it to work with a sponge at all Also, I think less is more. I use a flat top foundation brush from Sonia Cashuik. I have to let my primer soak in for a few minutes or not use any at all. It takes a lot of working in, so less really is more. I think if it wasn't even working with a clarisonic it may just not be a good foundation: /. I know when you love a brand you want to love everything they make

Try pumping it on the back of your hand, dotting it on your face (in small sections) and then blend it I agree that just picking it up with the beauty blender doesn't really work, but if you apply it to the face first and then blend it works much better I've been wearing the foundation since it launched and I absolutely love it Just make sure you do it in small sections because it does dry down super quick

I heard a tip from a drag queen on how to keep your mat lipstick from sucking the life out of them. Put a light layer of Vaseline on your lips and let it soak in then wipe off the excess before you put the mat lipstick on and it will still dry down mat but your lips will not have the life sucked out of them. I've tried it and it works.

Tati: DI watched another video where another YouTuber was sent a PR package and it included another product that you're supposed to use with the foundation. She had the same problem you had until she tried it with the oil they sent as well. Personally I don't like that you have to buy 2 products to get it to work.

I am going backwards in this weeks videos. Just ordered my second bottle of Halo. One comment, It is annoying how long it took for this product to reach me in Manhattan. Perhaps I am spoiled by Amazon Prime, Sephora and others who ship faster. Hope your subscriptions increase so this window becomes smaller.

I feel like maybe I should try the lip whips again because when I tried the ones I have, they literally never dried down. They got all clumpy and gross on my lips And honestly I dont have time to spend 10-20 minutes sitting there waiting on my lips to dry while trying not to move my lips.

Other reviewers have used moisturizers or moisturizing primers instead of the oil. Idk if maybe the oil didnt go well and also for others that wont try it because it didnt work well with her, dont diss the foundation its worked well with plenty of people just everyones skin is different.

Yes the problem your having is your probably not using the primer oil that comes with it that makes it so much easier to apply. The founder of beauty bakery messaged another youtuber and the owner said it is supposed to go with the oil and the foundation applies so amazing after that
