Suggestion for all the oily girlies out there: Try the new Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless primer. It's so good! My only complaint (which is also a love) is that it kinda feels like you're putting clay on your skin. That sounds so bad, but if you're looking to stay MATTE, it really does a great job. My only issue is the color because it almost goes on a little gray. But I don't find it so bad that it's problematic (sometimes I'll wear it on its own) and if you put foundation or powder on top you wouldn't notice anyway. It's probably the most mattifying primer I've ever used that doesn't dry out my skin and leave it flaky.

I have taken the leap on the Tirtir foundation based on your word alone, we have similar skin type, and I'm in very similar, scorching but humid weather, and I really don't need to buy another foundation since I have more than I need but I trust you that much and the price is great for what you get. Thanks Tati for your honest reviews, I seriously feel like I can blindly trust your recommendations! (Also, my current foundations are not working, and I'm also stuck on the fence of combo skin. it's the need of the hour for me, you always save me when I'm stuck in my beauty routine)

Is Halo Beauty going out of business My refill replacement has been sitting paid for and not shipped since May30th. I see refills are all sold out now, so I ordered another bottle, and that too is sitting unshipped. Reached out to CS via email with an automated response and nothing since. Also got a subscription refill alert for Jun25. Very backlogged and still charging for product you don't have

You look beautiful! Thanks for the recommendations. I’m so sad the tie tie didn’t work for me. I tried so many ways and just cracked and bunched up and looked mask like. I watched countless videos on how to apply. While it looked amazing the first hour it was crap after that. So bummed that NyX bronzer is sooo nice!

LH Cosmetics has their Fantastik sheer lipsticks with spf15 in 9 different colours. Jack Black lip balm spf25 is also a favourite! The spf for my face right now is COSRX ultra-light sunscreen spf50, you can’t feel it on your face and it sinks in with little to no effort.

A large bottle of sunscreen from Standard Procedure and a small one (from any brand) for on the go. A bottle of water (I cycle a lot. Blotting papers from Chanel or Shiseido. A fresh smelling deodorant from Dove or Garnier. And of course sunglasses.

I cannot work with Tirtir foundation. tI goes in patchy, emphasis texture and turns orange after an hour. I don’t know how to make it work. I’m frustrated because I hate the idea of it being wasted. Do you h any tips to make it behave better

Oh Tati, I guess I will have to get the Nyx bronzer. I swatched several this morning at Ulta and then told myself make due with the multiple cream bronzers by Elf from last year. Risa my other favorite makeup artist loves it too.

You should try the products by the brand Carpre. Their products help with sweat control. I ordered some and it’s been great. I’ve always been one to sweat in heat and humidity. I also heard it’s going to Sephora soon.

I can’t stop wearing Lunar Beauty’s translucent light powder it is amazing. Soft, yet powerful, and looks good on more mature 42 yr old dry to normal skin. Also I love my Naked Sundays sunscreen. Obsessed!
