I hate Chanel Makeup. I have owned quads, lipsticks, blush, powder and nail polish- all duds. My mom actually gave me the blush because she thought she was bad at blending it- nope, it was simply awful. Imo, if you want luxury makeup stick with Dior, Guerlain and YSL- always great, plus they deliver for the $$$. Givenchy and Armani have some great products too! I equally love mid luxury like Laura Mercier and Nars. Plus Elf makes some great makeup (&brushes) too. I love their lip products! I use them almost everyday. I don't believe in being a brand snob, it's so silly. If something works well, just use it!

What happened to BECCA, Tati We were wondering about it in Europe. I mean what REALLY happened. . because that brand never had a bad review. The BEST highlighters ever, in powder form and in liquid. They are stuning on the cheeks and on the eyelids. Jaw-dropping how good they all are. Some were just in time to purchase a few before they closed. How can a company go bankrupt when every single item they put on the market was a giant (I mean giant) success, worldwide. I genuinely don't get it. Their Shimmering Skin Perfector was phenomenal. Truly one of a kind. xx.

Honestly still don't get chanel. My friend was trying to coax me into getting the les beiges, and the palette was just soo. Underwelming. From the texture, to the application, and the shade I had 1 dollar chinese branded marc jacobs dupes that outperformed whatever that was. Ugh and that highlight. Still gives me shivers.
Edit: omg yessss thats the word! Their highlighters are chalky af. Especially on darker tones

I'm so glad to see someone review Chanel. I love Chanel but the last few times I bought Chanel I've been highly disappointed. The lip products have not been good I've had to get my money back because they were absolutely horrible Tati so I understand what you're saying. Those eyeshadows the liquid ones are wonderful I get one that's the same color I get all the time but thank you so much for your view doll We love you thanks.

The chip proof nail colour is a lie I see - how delightful as I'm not spending money on Chanel. My Rimmel nails last longer so I'm super happy. The eye colours scream 80' loud to me and are so off the rails. Definitely not for me even if I could. Love when u do these videos Tati - makes me realise that my FOMO is baseless lol Love all u do. Much love

I absolutely love mooncat && you had the shade not today Satan on about a year ago && since I’ve bought about 14 from them, got rid of a bunch of my old polishes, their brush is incredible, the shifty shimmers/holos are SO opaque. How’s that for influencing I just saw the shade on her && looked them up immediately. Amazing indie brand!

That’s the thing I think a LOT that I’m glad Tati calls attention to it feels like some brands place SO much emphasis & money on making the packaging next level while the product is either lackluster to unusable altogether. If anything, I’d prefer the other way around if we much pick which these days we don’t have to.

Super frustrating on the Chanel polish. I bought a couple weeks ago $40 for a polish! But same. Cute bottle and nice little paintbrush but chipped next day! With zero harshness. Scuffed all the nails before polishing and ph prepped before polishing. Wore gloves while doing dishes. Pulled off and had chips. F that!

I learned a tip from a professional manicurist: After you do base coat, 2 coats colour, and 1 coat top coat then follow up with 1 coat of top coat EVERY DAY. This will make your manicure last up to 2 weeks. I leave my clear top coat on the coffee table and do my nightly 1 coat as I watch TV.

You look so good here but with the BRIGHT PINK AND RED LIP COLORS. are the best colors for YOU. dont be svared of bright pink and red lipstick on you! tHE eyeshadows and blush are all excellent for you so I think you look just the best and this is probably my favorite look you've done

The only way to make Chanel highlighters work( because they are always bad formulas ) is to put a cream highlighter down first and then the powder on top. They actually have very nice reflective ingredients but the formulas are not good.

I only use Chanel nail polish and I have tried many brands. I think people do not know how to use Chanel nail polish. You need to use a base and the Chanel top coat. I sometimes use gel clear top coat and my polish stays for at least a week.

The diamond dust highlighter just has a glitter overspray. Underneath it’s smooth with a pink iridescent shift and soft shimmer. So if you don’t like the glitter, dust off the overspray which is what I did. Hope that helps

The highlighterit’s overspray on the top. I dusted away all of the overspray and I really like it. I do not know why any cosmetic company wants to use that overspray stuff. It’s temporary and covers up the real formula.

I cannot wear purple anything around my eyes. No purple shadow, liner or mascara. My eyes instantly turn red and start itching. I figure I am allergic to some purple colorants. I will just have to admire how good they look on Tati!

Tati I absolutely love your videos as always but if you gonna go ahead and put a nail polish from Chanel on you have to use the top code for the color to last there is a top code that seals and locks that nail polish in.

I wonder if the highlighter just needs to have the top glitter layer removed before it can be applied better. Just a thought. It looked like the fallout was just on the top layer when you zoomed in on the product.
