OMG. here we go again A Contour device that makes life simple and will rock your world Laura Hedlund: I dont mind investing in good brushes for make-up and my paints for that matter. A good brush is all you need. This reminds me of gimmicky kitchen gadgets that no real cook will ever reach for bc we use our knives for almost everything. Same with my makeup brushes. They can keep their avo-mato-pear slicer, as for me I'll stick with my beloved brushes. But bc it says contour people will buy it. I agree with Tati - I dont like the harsh lines & theres no need for this. Slow down and control your hand. I could see young girls or beginners who are just starting out playing around with this.

I would not spend 20 on a tool that is supposed to make my contour better when the owner's contour looks like that. I'm sorry, I think it looks really strange. In my personal opinion, the girl in the video has everything I don't want to have in my contour; brown muddy stripes all over the face where you can't even see her natural skintone anymore. That's just me of course. It looks scary, like she had some sort of incident with self tanner on her face.

I know Tati loves contouring with warm tones because thats something she has learned from J. Los makeup artist, but I dont think it works on her skin tone as well. It doesnt look like a natural shadow and doesnt necessarily enhance her natural features, but makes the complexion products look much heavier and ages her a little bit. I would work with more cool toned shades, and then a wash of bronzer, maybe a peach toned blush. thats just my opinion

Tati your so beautiful. I think when people say crazy wacko messages they are just jealous of your looks, personality, and of what u have worked so hard on and have created. your a role model of mine. I'm a beginner with makeup. so I am starting to watch all your videos. I may have commented in past from my other account jaynaims1. anyways, thanks for your love.

I like the softness of your makeup pre-contour, but the contour does truly warm up the face, matching with the glow of your skin and your tan. I feel like pre-contour is a great winter look where you're a little paler, not quite so sun-kissed. That being said, probably won't be grabbing a 20 tool when I can just practice, practice, practice. XD

On rupauls drag race Ive seen queens using business cards to get those sharp lines. I know her digestion was paper towels and paper products but your brush will drag on the paper and you run the risk of it seeping through. Just a tip I learned from the best makeup artist there are.

I'd rather say learn the anatomy of your face and facial bone structure. It helps better. It may be more helpful if you're fund of harsh contour lines which most people won't be able to pull off on a daily basis. Plus your cards are handy tools to do the same job. Ain't it?

I like the concept for beginners but to pay 20. NO. Just as she mentioned you can get same results with a straight edge of a cardboard or using the long edge of one of your beauty brushes. How about trying out those brow stamping tools or brow stencil kits?

I feel you on the caffeine thing. I went 9 months caffeine free for my pregnancy and went nuts with it once I had my baby. And then I realized caffeine affects breast milk so now I'm trying to give it up again and my brain is just not having it.
