What's inside multivitamin supplements and WHY?
video description
Taking vitamins with no insufficiency is like eating money - you just get to piss rich.
Maybe Murica needs supplementation, because everything is so insufficient in healthy ingredients, and have a surplus in sugar/fat therefore having an obesity epidemic. But even then it's more of a issue of eating disorder, not vitamin insufficiency (expect WHEN you do bloodwork and have insufficiency.

Not your finest hour Adam.
If the good folk at Ritual make smart decisions and back them up with science (your words, not mine) why the FDA disclaimers flashing up on screen throughout the video? Surely that should have been a red flag for you when considering accepting this sponsorship rather than something to be deferred to another video? When can we expect that one by the way?
Their main feature, the traceability, also highlights that they source components from the USA, Canada, Argentina, Norway, Switzerland, and the UK amongst others. No amount of recycled packaging is going to offset the environmental impact of that. Something else you conveniently neglected to discuss.
I totally understand that you can't continue to make your usually very high standard content without sponsorship but surely there are lines that should not be crossed if you want to maintain your integrity?
Looking forward to normal (snake oil free) service being resumed in future videos.

Oof, I'm sorry man, this ain't good. Like a lot of other people in the comments sections, I was expecting a more balanced viewpoint on supplements. The fact that its sponsored by a supplement company immediately tells me that whatever you're about to say will not be balanced.
Disguising a video like this as though it was just a normal, well-researched video topic rather than a blatant ad did not sit well with me. And no sources! What happened to Adam Ragusea, the guy who sources what he says! Overall disappointed.

Sorry Adam, usually love your videos and don't mind the sponsors. But this just felt like a 10 minute ad and not actually a video about vitamins. Would much prefer you actually talked about the pros and cons of vitamins and supplements in general and put in a quick sponsor code in the middle somewhere for a minute like you usually do. Hope this isn't the beginning of a new trend for your videos because I have found you to be extremely well balanced in the past with your videos on food related topics.

This ain t it, chief. The supplement is such a murky place that it s basically impossible to interact with it without participating in the shadiness. If you re in any way wary of Big Pharma you should be 100x more sceptical of Big Supplement - the only significant difference between the two is that Big Pharma might be the most regulated industry on this planet.
If you re reading this you probably don t need supplements lol

Found this relevant as my wife is vegan and breastfeeding, shopping compatible suppliments is actually pretty tricky. Only a handful of vitamins have measurable effect, some if which you covered quite well (iron, D, omega fatty acids. I would love to see a stronger warning about unregulated supplements and to reinforce the general scientific conclusion that nutrients in pill form mostly placebo and snake oil.

So many people who are so sceptic about this product. So if it was FDA approved you all would have consumed it? So why isn't it being done so?
Your voted representative are fillin pockets that's why.
Next time they come to beg your votes why not tell them to do something about that.
In spiderman voice- you will get my vote when you fix the God damn medical Industry

Your sponsored videos usually feel like a video youd make anyway that was just prompted by the sponsor, this doesn't feel like a video youd ever make, its just an ad. I dont pretend to know you or how you think, but it seems to me that youd be way more critical of the mineral industry. Im ok with sponsorships, we all need to make a living, but this feels cheap and wrong.

Another really great video! I didn t understand what minerals and vitamins were supposed to be before now. I m always a bit iffy about an informative video tied entirely to a brand, what if they were to lose their credibility in the future? But it seemed to be well backed and trustworthy.

I don t mind sponsored videos. I really like how you usually do them. But this man This is way below your standards. Literally 3/4 of this video are ad. And vitamin supplements? Come on man you can do better than that. :/
