I might have to go ahead and attempt this; even if we weren't in lockdown, the only good Cuban restaurant in town closed a few years ago, so there's nowhere to get a good cubano! Other restaurants claim they have them, but really it's just a glorified ham sandwich. Not the real thing!

My wife and I cooked this for my dad on fathers day. We followed every step and list of ingredients to the t and let me tell you guys my family loved this sandwich! I totally reccomend this for anyone! I promise you will not be disappointed: )

So Ive seen about half a dozen recipes and they all skip the brine and go straight for the mojo. Is the brine part of the OG Cuban sandwich recipe or unique to this one?
