Just a curious question. When you recreate these traditional dishes from various cuisines are you going with whatever you feel like or going for traditional. Because your Shakshuka is almost perfect except no Feta cheese, No potatoes, and you need to let the tomatoes, bell peppers simmer for a very long time and then slowly add the eggs. Sorry being Moroccan Jewish and growing up eating this stuff kinds of make me scratch my head every time you recreates something from my regions or grew up eating. I get it if it's a this is my take on a recipe which is totally fine by mean. But don't forget to mentions it because lots of peoples well look at this and think Babish said this is how we do it and he knows what he is doing.

I tried Hello Fresh and even with the first time trying it discount, it is cheaper and fresher to go to the grocery store and buy ingredients and make what I want to eat instead of what they are limited to. If I were living somewhere that didn't have grocery stores, I could see how that would be a good service.

I really really hate to disagree with the master but even 5 minutes seems like a long time for a soft boiled egg. Maybe its different in a steam basket, I've never done that but for me, 4 mins is about right for a large egg when boiling. 3. 5 mins is right for a medium sized egg imho.

I tried the Eggs Benedict twice and mess them up both times. My sauce never looked as thick as the video and I have no idea how to poach eggs, so they came out incredibly slippery and basically fell apart as I placed them. Looks like cooking isn't for me.

Just here to remind everybody that in 2020 blue apron still sucks! Waste of money and more importantly huge producer of plastic waste. If you need to get blue apron to start cooking at home, maybe stick to frozen pizza!

I don't know about anyone else but the egg he cut open when he made the scotch eggs looked almost sickly to me. Maybe it's a newzealand thing but all of our eggs have bright orange yolks

In terms of the awesome egg recipes as well as your usual humorous commentary, this is probably one of your best videos. Great combination of those two fundamental elements.

WRONG. this dude is a sophist.
that is NOT how you properly peel a boiled egg.
you should never even have to tediously peel at them like that if you're doing it correct

Why didn't you colour grade your video? It looks like you shot flat, which is great, but then you just uploaded flat too, which defeats the point of shooting in flat.

You dare call aioli mixing mustard with that shitty mayo of yours americans? Damn you suddenly lost a lot of credibility.
