It's time to show you something that we, at Crumbs & Doilies, are all super proud of. The amazing 5-tier wedding cake that we created for Tom and Lance's special day. Amazing teamwork from the whole C&D gang PLUS the big reveal to Lance, who had no idea what kind of cake he'd be getting. PS no laughing at my hairnet please: D

Really lovely cake and Im learning all the time, so thanks. You arent making cardboard cutout cakes - but bespoke and thats special. Can I just add that you seem to be the only person who ties their hair back. First thing mum taught me - wash your hands and tie your hair. Very few do this - even Nigella. Who wants to find a bit of hair in their food? So I appreciate you setting the example

Well, at first look it doesn't fill one's mind with visions of a wedding ceremony, I'm afraid a second, and a final third long look and nope, still nothing. There are some nicely executed design elements to it, it just doesn't have a wedding cake vibe to it. It looks to be more of a holiday cake. I'm sure it tasted good and if Tom an Lance liked it then it was perfect.

May we know what the layers were? I'm itching to knowThat is amazing time management and stress control to bake, make decorations and decorate a five tier cake, drive hours away and set up all in one day, no less the day of the actual wedding. I unfortunately know of so many bakeries that wouldn't do this, I mean baking the cake the week before, etc.

Hey sorry for bothering you but I love your page I keep trying to make edible cookie dough and i use Tate and lyle soft brown sugar and it keeps tasting so grainy. (I have to use soft light brown sugar) i even tried putting the sugar in a blender and it still tastes grainy. Do you or anyone have any ideas how to stop the grainy texture. Thank you

What I think great about you and your team is that you cover your hair I can't believe the amount of people on Youtube and on the television who allow their hair to be uncovered whilst cooking. It is so unhygienic. When I cooked years ago I always covered my hair to stop stray hairs going into the food.

They both look adorable in their suits so handsome that is going to be me and Troye Sivan since we're boyfriends and love each other and I told him on social media and on the phone that. I want to get married to him but he asked me out and I felt love I love my honey Troye forever he is mine

The color scheme feels a bit tacky and juvenile imho. I get it's about the Union Jack and star spangled banner, but it still feels incredibly juvenile. sorry It doesn't feel like a wedding cake but more of a birthday cake for a kid from a wealthy family.

While I'm not patriotic at all, I imagine that cake would be perfect for people who are. It looks exquisitely well-made and I'm sure it made them both extremely happy and their breath minty fresh.

Hi Jemma I would love a recipe for the large macaroons (not macarons) you can buy in a bakery shop, crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle and recipe you can provide would be most welcome x
