Have not had a toffee apple in years, I would probably break my teeth on one now though. I'll be that nerdy guy and say the surface of the sun is about 5-6000, caramel isn't quite that hot but could still do you some serious damage so absolutely be careful with it.

I've got a question: From what material is that container you should pour the sugar in? Would normal plastic melt? I've never made toffee, so I absolutely don't know. Thanks a lot and sorry for my non-native-wonky-English; -)

You know you could just take the stem out it just common sense and secondly you did not say you need water so dumb you just need apples and sugar
