Mam got be into baking with her queen cake recipe 4oz butter, 4oz sugar, cream that toger, add 4oz SR flour and 2 eggs. Boom. Used to love making them. Days before I used a sieve

The bake time on Sally s was definitely too high. 200C is around 392F. I usually bake at 350F at the highest and 325F at the lowest without a fan
