It's time for another Crumbs and Doilies hit This is a flavour we have been doing since we opened and every time we put it on the counter it FLIES OFF Whatever you want to call them, Speculoos, Lotus biscuits, Biscoff, they are Tasty AF and Lotus Biscoff Spread, or Cookie Butter, is one of the best inventions since Peanut Butter. Recipe. For the Buttery Biscoff Base. 100g crushed Lotus biscuits (use any tasty biscuit if you can't fond those) 15g melted butter 1 tsp golen syrup For the sponge. 125g self raising flour 100g caster sugar 25g dark brown soft sugar 1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda pinch of salt 125g soft butter 2 lg eggs 1. 5 tbsp milk For the filling. 100g double/heavy cream generous tablespoon of Lotus Biscoff spread or cookie butter of your choice For the Swiss Meringue Buttercream, make a half batch of my recipe - and add 150g slightly warmed Biscoff Spread

Im a huge fan and really love your recipes. Im looking for a new stand mixer and was hoping you might be able to recommend one. My current one isnt happy with the Italian meringue buttercream making that I do a lot of/the 30min or so on full speed. It gets crazy hot and makes unhappy noises. Could you recommend one that lasts for a long mixing time or what one do you use?

So happy to see this recipe - I bought a jar of Biscoff spread 'on spec' in Torremolinos ) as you can't get it here in Sweden. Now I know exactly what I'll be doing with it Once again Jemma thank you for your amazing generosity in sharing your recipies with us, you are fantastic

OH My GOD I LOVE Biscoff. hier in germany we have a Biscoffcream. so so so delicious on bread, in dessert or to et it so with a spoon XD We love her Buy is in Netherlands, there is in supermarket a crunchy version of this. nomnomnom

Yummy Cannot wait to make these I went tl crumbs and doilies for the first time There werent any lotus biscoff cupcakes but there were the pretzel cupcakes Which was soooo delicious Cant wait to come again and try more

Can I just check is it 1tsp of golden syrup or 1tbsp as i can see in the description it says 1tsp but in the video it looks a lot more than that and i know in your recipe book it tends to be 1tbsp. Thanks.

Make your lives easy. Make Duncan Hines mix cupcakes. Add Biscoff to the can of frosting to taste, Frost and add the cookie. Voila. Ive been doing this for twenty years. Best selling cupcakes at school sales.

I was making your chocolate cupcake recipe and for some reason after they came out of the oven the bottom of the cupcake and outside of the liner was oily. Do you know why? They rose and baked fine otherwise
