I'm a vegan and a Mexican guy living in mexico, i'm 18 and I don't really like cooking because I suck at it. I'm probably way as far out of my zone as I can be but I watch your videos because I like you, like, you make them entertaining in a weird way. You're funny: D Sides all the recipes are really easy (not that I could pull them out tho, but i'd definitely give them a try if I ate meat)

I tried it and It's somewhat possible, but because the liquid can't evaporate it won't thicken and turn into a gravy kind of sauce. You could start the first few hours in the crock pot and simmer on the stove for the last hour without the lid. That what I did and it worked great.

I've made this twice and both times it scorched to the bottom. 1st time with a stainless pot 2nd with a porcelain coated cast iron pot. Are you supposed to stir this? It didn't say in the video did it? I'm using my tiniest burner on its lowest simmer setting.

I had Beef and Guinness Pie once, it was SO good. It was basically this recipe, but made in a chicken pot pie style. So for your point in the beginning, about what kind of beers to use, I know from experience, Guinness works really well.

LOL I just watched your episode on how to make butter milk biscuits and laughed through the entire thing. And now to see you acting and speaking normal is all good. Love your personality, all of them. :-)

Thanks for the reply! Haha, we all tend to be forgetful every now and then. My luck, however, is mostly now rather than then. I can't wait to make this and impress all my guy friends. :D

It looks fantastic, sort of like a beer-bred stroganof, and after 4 hours it oughta literally melt in your mouth. I've gotta try it, for sure! TOOOOOOO easy!

Eating this now. I used New Castle Brown Ale and added some sliced portobello mushrooms in the last hour. Delicious! Thanks for another great recipe Hilah.

Well, thanks for watching, even if it's not vegan. :P I do have a few vegan recipes in a veg playlist -- I bet you could do them if you tried! :)
