Chef Ramsay, I. ve just moved out of my familys house at age 20 and Im getting married. Im learning to cook for my fianc how do you know when red meat is medium rare/medium/medium well/ etc. without having to cut into it and check Ive heard of the palm of your hand method but i dont understand it at all and Im either overcooking or undercooking stakes/burgers and i do not know what internal temperature to stop at. help me please

Look at it this way, if he didnt X-Ray everything that came in and went out of that prison hed probably lose his job/livelihood. Would you get pissed if one of your chefs double checked to see if the pork was done? No? Then stop being a dick Gordon, the man has a job to do thats hard enough without you complaining about standard procedure.

Now I admire Gordon even more than I did. What a great project. Can you imagine being in prison, and learning to bake from one of top chefs in the world? He is such a character, too.
