While In Cambodia, Gordon Ramsay learns how to make a pork & Pumpkin curry in a cooking school. Luis Martinez: When I was watching this I kind of thought wow the level of dilapidation in the video and the poverty stricken faces of the youth made me sad, inspired, but sad. As I chuckled through the mishaps and the broken English I began to think about the food being prepared and slowly began to grasp at how large the portions were made. Towards the end it hit me, people putting this much dedication into cooking and making large quantities in a fairly low income country it dawned on me that we were seeing the work of a soup kitchen. I didnt think much about the rampant youthly chatter and when I heard kids running to eat I literally broke down. This is truly heartbreaking and endearing at the same time. Strong woman who are leading the charge towards perfection and instilling discipline while performing charitable work is absolutely amazing. Thank you Mr. Ramsay for shining light on this small kitchen, I hope your trip there helped fund help to this city and its people.

I have so much respect for Chef Ramsay. He reminds me so much of my own father. He used to be an elementary/high school band teacher. He would spot talent from a mile away and push his students to reach farther and give them opportunities that they normally wouldnt have gotten. He taught them to appreciate and respect music, just as Chef Ramsay drills appreciation and respect for food to those that he encounters. He is giving this boy an opportunity of a lifetime, something that he will never forget and he will use in the future to grow.

All uk kids should watch this video. Well this video should run the world so all kids can see how good their life is. Kids today just want technology and nothing else and it is also parents fault. Ohh I want to give my kids what I never had. BS Give them education and good manners. Teach them family values. How to respect others. Respect teachers and autorities, etc. Well apart from this. This dish made me hungry

I love this man for so many reasons I love how he challenges the hell of those that dare to be the best in the world, so they can be the best. When he hang out with poor people, he knew how to inspire or give them courage to not give up life. A great chef like him, but still, never take offended from normal or homemade chef around the world. So happy to watch his cooking and traveling doc tv show.

It is my country Cambodia. He might get hard in this flavor because our food very very different from western style of cooking. Even he is a famous world chef but it hard to understand one other flavor just few hours. We have different identity Traditional foods. Dun mind me if saying sth wrong.

That school is so amazing. Teaching underprivileged kids how to cook is like the old saying about teaching a man to fish rather than buying him a fish. And on top of that, the food they make while learning is given to kids that live on the street. That woman is amazing for what she does

I can appreciate that Gordon spotted talent in the 18-year-old kid and gave him an opportunity to showcase his skills. It might be the leg up the kid needs to starting a culinary career. Its great when people in positions of power open doors for the next generation.

I adore Lina for creating this organization, correct me if I am wrong about her being the founder. Feeding street kids and teaching them how to cook so that they can survive by having a skill set are amazingly wonderful.
