It's National Burger Day in America and Gordon's put together some of his top tips in one video for you to cook up the best burger possible tonight! Bill: I love Gordon Ramsay and I try to make all of his awesome recipes but I have to call him out on his burgers. I watch his videos on gourmet burgers and I cannot imagine anyone enjoy eating them. For one thing the gourmet burgers appear to be so tall that no human on earth could take a bit straight down. The other issue I have is alot of the strange ingredients he uses which makes me wonder if the people that like that stuff eats burgers in the first place. Again I love Gordon and this is meant as a fun insight into his insane burgers which is just my opinion.

As a wife of a meatcutter, aka butcher, and also a son who followed in Dad's footsteps (with military service and a BS degree. Take our advice: If you want great tasting meat for a burger ask your grocer's meat department for hamburger THEY make from their meat trimmings, instead of what they get from the meat processing plants (which tend to fall apart on the grill because its grounded fine and has added sodium water. Sometimes it's called Market Ground. Calling a day ahead will ensure you get what is important to your needs, ie, leaner or tastier (chuck is best.

Tips are out of order. Maybe heat up barbecue or pan first, getting ready. Then all the tips where one is adding things to the burger: egg, butter, seasoning. Put shaped burger in the heat. Prep bun. Advice about flipping burger, resting, add cheese on top (or add cheese before resting, video is unclear. Toast buns (while burgers are resting. Finally (after resting for how long, build burger. So interesting ideas, but clearly out of order.

My mother taught me all these tips. She'd be 104 last March. This is not new. And those are not good toppings. A proper burger needs lettuce, mayo and grilled onions. Tomatoes and arugala are frou-frou and rather disgusting. Brits should listen, not talk, when it comes to burgers.

Gord you finish with a 10 high burger and you've specifically criticized burgers for being so huge you can't bite into them. I love you dude but the double standards are real Edit timestamp 3: 37 no one is gonna bite into that normally

I just hope people would just make regular sized burger instead of those I see on Reddit where you can smell diabetes over the screen with the melting cheese overflowing or the meat that's clearly not fit for that bread.
