Gordon is India this week on Scrambled while he was shooting Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted. After being inspired by the amazing spices of the Kerala region of India, he's decided to whip up a spicy Scrambled Egg Roti. But this is not a breakfast taco, this all Indian and one of Gordon's best breakfasts yet!

One reason I am not a cook. Grew up eating super spicy dishes (parents from Middle East/South Asia and father loved it really spicy. For me spicy is putting in extracts that are 2 million+ in caucasian ('The End'. That is enough to suffocate people with normal/low tolerance. These eggs are nothing to me. Watch out if you try it. Check reaction to spicy extract.

Great dish, You must also consider the northern dishes. I would love to see you cook the famous Chole Bhature or Rajma with Jeera Rice the latter is a great take on the beans the Brits love in there breakfast but cooking it Indian style with rice makes for a great Sunday brunch. Lots of love from India Gordon. Wish you more success.

Awesome video. Obviously under the weather when this was filmed. Hope all is well! Edit: If the pan had a handle would you have applied a bit less heat once the eggs were in? I know one of the cardinal sins in cooking eggs is to cook them too quickly.

This just isn't authentic, all the utensils look unused and new. He's not getting the authentic feel of Kerala by using these pans and dishes. Wish he'd mingle with the locals and understood the flavour better.

The sound mixing in these always gives me a headache. Don't understand why they can't just give Gordon a shirt mic and call it a day. I don't need to hear everything happening with his hands at MAX VOLUME lol

I can't say I know anyone in india who puts turmeric and garam masala in scrambled eggs lol. White people and their idea of Indian cooking chuck garam masala and turmeric in everything.

With the AC/DC-esque riff as background music and Gordon wearing those shades this is probably the most badass way of cooking one can imagine. Not even the faulty pan can ruin this: D

I make a southwest scrambled egg with peppers, onions, cheese and Mexican spices. This has inspired me to go make that right now except spice it up a little more. Thanks Gordon.

I am Lao and loved the lao herbs and spices omelette you did but I have to admit that Indians do make good eggs with their spices and freshness of their ingredients.
