Ferrero Rocher Cake - consists of chocolaty brownie layers, alternating with hazelnut meringue layers, filled with nutella frosting and chocolate ganache, coated with toasted hazelnuts and topped with an amazing chocolate glaze. Ingredients Makes about 18 servings Brownie Layers 3. 5 oz (100g) semisweet chocolate 3/4 cup (170g) butter 1 tsp (2g) instant coffee powder 1 tbsp (8g) unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup (200g) sugar 1/2 tsp (3g) salt 3 eggs 1 tsp (5g) vanilla extract 3/4 cup (95g) flour 1 oz (30g) semisweet chocolate, chopped, divided in 3 Hazelnuts 2 cups (300g) hazelnuts, whole, divided Meringue Layers 1/2 cup (75g) hazelnuts, toasted and grounded 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar, divided 4 tbsp (60g) sugar, divided 3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour 4 egg whites 1 tbsp (15ml) lemon juice Pinch of salt Chocolate Ganache for filling 7 oz semisweet chocolate 3/4 cup (200g) whipping cream Nutella Frosting 5. 5 oz (160g) semisweet chocolate 2/3 cup (160g) whipping cream 1/2 cup (60g) unsweetened cocoa powder 3/4 cup (200g) nutella 1 1/2 tsp (7g) vanilla extract 1 1/3 cup (300g) butter, room temperature Chocolate Glaze 7 oz (200g) semisweet chocolate, small pieces 1/4 cup (56g) butter 1/4 cup (50g) sugar 2/3 cup (160ml) milk For decorating Ferrero Rocher truffles chocolate chips/curls chopped hazelnuts

I've just made this for a bake sale and it looked amazing. I did some short cuts as I didn't have much time. I used the same recipe for the cake, frosting and glaze. I decided to not do the meringue but instead replaced that with broken up pieces of wafers. I also left out the ganache but just used the frosting and wafers between layers of cake. When I made the frosting it was too runny so I whisked it up to get a frosting consistency. I also used sparkly golden sprinkles in the middle to give it the 'ferrero' look. As it was for a bake sale I didn't use Ferraro Roche on top. I piped out frosting as swirls around the top edge and placed a whole hazel nut on each one. It turned out amazing and tasted great too. So yeah a lot if modifications but thank you for the idea.

Hello, Ma'am, I have few doubts. Kindly find some time to clear my doubts. 1. While taking half cup butter, how should I take it? Shall I melt it and measure it using a half cup, or cut pieces of butter and measure them using a half cup? 2. I would like to give a mirror finish to the cake. Is it possible to add gelatine to chocolate glaze, if YES kindly tell me how many grams of gelatine?

Hi i am a baker and for christmas lunch desert i make ferrero rocher cake recipie something wrong with ganache recipie normaly the ratio is 2 part of chocolat for one part of cream and you say 200 grammes of chocolat and 200 ml of wipped cream its to much liquid i need add 200 grammes of chocolat for have a good consistency

Ok, I made your rafaello cake n now will be making this one too Got a couple of questions, please reply. Does the meringue stay crunchy after assembling the cake? Is it ok to crumble to meringue for easier cutting of the cake (if it stays crunchy? If so will it still have the crunch?

How dark is your chocolate in this video? I'am gonna make this cake for my girlfriends birthday in 2 weeks, but here in denmark the chocolate is listed with % and not semisweet & bittersweet, so which % would you go with? Thanks

Is it me or the baker measurements of the chocolate frosting is wrong? The baker says to add less than 1/3 of Nutella frosting but she clearly added more than that. I don't think she knows her measurements well.

Hi, in the recipe after the ingredients for brownie it is written that 300g hazlenuts. Also for Meringue layers we are taking 75g hazlenuts. Are they both same? Can somebody clarify that for me.

I always have a problem with the meringue layer Whenever i try to make them to turn out dry and very hard to cut. ive followed many recipes step by step with respect of ingredients and method by in vain: (

All that I could think was the amount of calories I'll get while eating this My god, she doesn't use anything less than 200gms of chocolate each time added with butter and sugar. Yikess
