We're transporting you back in time to when Jamie had just turned 30 and took a birthday road trip through Italy. Most of it made it's way onto TV but this little gem, where Jamie hunts for wild mushrooms and truffles, has just found its way out of the time vaults. Here he is in the middle of the Le Marche woods foraging for a tasty and extremely expensive picnic lunch

I am italian and this made me so happy. Happy that you gave a chance to the REAL food here, anything fancy, just lovely, simple, flavorful food. I don't live in the city, i live in Lunigiana, North of Tuscany, and the mushrooms we have here are stunning, porcini are just out of this world here. You should definitely come and lots of people will be very happy to show you our beautiful woods! :-)

I turn 20 this coming Friday, and I've watched you on TV since I was about 6. I am going to start training as a chef in 2016, and since I started loving seeing you, it's been one of my life dreams and goals to meet you Jamie! Thank you for being so awesome and inspiring!

Mushies on toast. All the time. Runny sunny on top. yep. but, I've gotta be honest, have never known the taste of truffle. Smelt, yes, but never tasted. I think though, being an aussie, it's more bizarre that I've never been to the snow. Haha

Jamie. you started the love for good cuality food & cooking in me in 2003. and it never stopped; when i look at videos like this I understand why. A brilliant, revolutionary genuine chef of our generation. thanks a lot.

dead? lol. those were psylocibin cubensis. ;) seriously though. i don't know any mushrooms that are lethal if you only eat one or a few. you'll probably throw up before anything dangerous happens. but i'm no expert.

Videos like these make me really really sad that I'm allergic to mushrooms! >. > that looked delicious! (Wish I could find I out what truffles taste like without throwing up and not being able to breathe lol)

Hey Jamie! I really like your cooking because its a combination of creativeness, fun, nature, family etc. Have you cooked before Pakistani cuisine? I want to learn your version of Pakistani food. Thanks

I remember Jamie saying Quite frankly I like a little bit of dirt in my food. and then 2: 55 and those Italians were like NO WAY, keep that damn bread on the board
