Reminds me of my mom's breakfast casseroles. Yum. As you mentioned, she was always willing to use whatever was on hand. One time it was apple and cheddar and chicken. And it was amazing. PS. That baking dish is gorgeous.

What a wonderful idea for Christmas morning! Put it together Christmas Eve night and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator then pop it in the over while the family open presents. Thank you! Christmas blessings!

Great recipe! In the Before Times, strata was always my go-to for staff breakfast potlucks. I do mine with cheese, spinach, and bacon.

Never seen a recipe like this in the UK, it's kind of like a savoury bread and butter pudding. Looks tasty, will give it a go.

Not that familiar with chorizo and poblano pepper taste. Would this be spicy or hot peppery. It looks like a perfect meal.
