Mexican Street Food Tour in Guadalajara: SUBSCRIBE for more: T-shirts: TEQUILA, MEXICO - In this video we’re visiting the little and world famous town of Tequila to eat some delicious Mexican food and taste some of their famous beverage. You never know what’s going to happen in Tequila, Mexico! Huge thank you to my friends, go follow them for delicious food: Mexi Papa (Jorge Reynaga) Claudio De Angelis Martinez Gabriela Lara Special thanks to Casa Salles Hotel Boutique for hosting us, an amazing hotel in Tequila. Fonda Lupita - We’re starting off just outside of Tequila at a traditional local restaurant. I tried their amazing tortillas and jocoque - kind of like a yoghurt cream sauce, and then enjoyed a delicious breakfast of carne de res con chile. El Tequileño Distillery - We took a full tour here, and it was just the warm up! After the tour we then walked around Tequila, and enjoyed some local Mexican street food on Hunger Alley. Cantaritos el Güero - No trip to Tequila is complete without trying Cantaritos, a massive 20 liter swimming pool of a cocktail! La Capilla de Don Javier - Finally one more drink invention we had to try, which is called a batanga, before calling it a night in Tequila. watching people make proper Mexican food and enjoy it, just makes me proud of my Mexican heritage.
Mexico may be a humble country, but its flavors rule the world.
I can't imagine a world without chile or chocolate, tomatoes or avocados; without foods from Central and South America like Corn, Potatoes or Vanilla.
In my experiece, when people start doing Tequila shots at a party, means it's time to call your ride. Maybe one day we will know what is in that, exactly

This is one of the longest series I've ever seen you do, all in Guadalajara and Jalisco State. I am deeply impressed with how intimate and intrinsic a traveller you are, beyond the deep and abiding love for cuisine you have, the love of people and respect and reverence you have for culture and history. You are, you have become, one of the greatest explorers and travellers the world has ever known. Happy travels for ever more, Mr. Wiens.

Tequila is not supposed to be smooth, Tequila is a macho drink, seriously all those smooth Tequilas are made specifically for American people, who are willing and have the money to pay for a Tequila just made for them, suaaaaveee no mames, Tequila is not not suave, if pedro armendariz was alive he would wish to be dead again before trying don julio 1942 that's for LGBT

Looks yum - 17: 55 is that cilantro not too strong/overpowering with that amount I've seen other eaters use it lots too. Maybe I just don't prefer it as much but maybe with the richness of everything else it balances right Open to comments about the balance of flavors. Nice upload though Mark.

Great video mark.
My family is from Hostotipaquillo Jalisco, just about 45min from tequila. Hopefully you get a chance to visit other near by towns. I’m sure you will really like the culture it has to offer.

I love Mark’s videos and his take on food bur as a Mexican is hard to watch him make a taco with the outside of the tortilla and it was also the tortilla on the top, only Mexicans will understand

Adding your calabaza to your glass of milk is so american I mexico the real way to do it is you serve your calabaza in a deep plate and then you fill it up with milk just like your cereal plate

I didn't expect you would drink alcohol, rotten stinky food which is dangerous for health. Alcohol makes society down. There are different types of good foods, taste them

This is one of the best videos you ever done. I want to swim in that tequila pool so bad lmao. And that huge bowl of tequila is definitely the ultimate thirst quencher

Mark never drinks alcohol. It’s such a bummer. If you watch closely, he lets the wine-etc touch his lips but he isn’t drinking it.
