Food Fail and Home Cooked Thai Food in Bangkok (Day 21) linlin55: Really enjoyed the South Korea food edition. Great work to both you and Ying. I have to admit that I was tempted to book a flight to South Korea during more than one of your videos. I think you did a great job of covering the basic Korean dishes that we see/hear about when we talk about Korea. On a side note, you've traveled abroad more than enough times to know that for international flights you should get to the airport at least 4 hours in advance. Not saying that it'll take you the whole 4 hours to get thru the check-in process, but just so you're not having to trouble other people by rushing you thru the line so you could make your flight or even holding the boarding gate open just for you. Sorry, I just had to comment because it gets on my nerves when this happens on one of my flights.

Hi Mark, I bet you couldn't wait to get back home. Been watching your videos for some time now and base on your head-tilt-meter, I could clearly see you didn't enjoy most of the korean foods, your reaction was so forced that me and my wife could bare to finish most of your 21 days korean episodes. :( Maybe except for the grill beef and eel, the rest sucks or meh at best. Too bad you couldn't say anything or give an honest review as you are being guarded by your sponsor's minion the whole time.

it doesn't matter if your flight late noon or early morning the Q in Incheon airport is always long flying in or flying out it the same especially at the immigration. this is through my own experience so i always go to the airport super early when am flying off instead of 3 hours i go 4-5 hours early instead to avoid the super long Q. the Q at the immigration always eats up the most time at least an hour standing in Q to pass through.

Hmmmm. Frankly. Lotte franchise has its worst reputation in their food line especially in Korean people(I'm a Korean. You made a wrong choice hahaha: / (I was screaming out when you rushed to Lotte Mart) Next time, it's way better to try GS25 or CU if you're running out of time rather than Lotte Mart and 7-11( 7-11 in Korea is run by Lotte which also has the weirdest foods in Korea)

Mark, I'm a big fan of your videos. I had a question though, why do you tend to over enunciate when narrating? When you talked on the phone with your friend, that casual tone you used fits you much better (at least that's my opinion. Either way I'll still enjoy your videos. Keep up the amazing work.

If you're using Korean air or Asiana you should be able to check-in and drop your baggage at Seoul station, even they do immigration there so you can jump the long line at ICN. The only thing you have to do is to buy the express train ticket first which is more expensive than the all stop train.

Mark. I noticed that you had your phone with you. I know you are based in Bangkok so you're likely to use a Thailand mobile carrier for data on your device. But what do you do when you travel to other countries? Do you use an international plan when traveling abroad? do you use a local SIM card?

I used to try to visit final stops on my last day during my travels. Now, I just go to the airport super early and eat there. So much more relaxing. I really enjoyed your Korean tour videos. I have been there few times and it seems like there much more places I need to visit. :)
