Hia Boon Seafood ) is a 1 table Thai seafood restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand. The family run restaurants is originally from Yala province in southern Thailand, but they lived for many years in Trat. Trat has some of the best seafood in Thailand, and when they moved to Bangkok, they wanted to bring top quality organic seafood to Bangkok. At first, the family just distributed seafood and did delivery, but their son Andaman, who is 20 years old, loved to cook. Customers were asking them to open just a single one table restaurant, and so they did. You have to book ahead and order ahead, but you can be guaranteed the seafood is fresh and top quality. It was a fun experience, and delicious seafood. The massive tiger prawns were delicious, but probably my favorite dishes were the steamed barramundi and the barracuda stir fried in chili garlic butter. Here are the dishes we ordered: Steamed fish, lime juice ) Shrimp salad ) Barracuda, chili salt ) Cuttlefish ) Grilled shrimp ) Pickled crab ) Shrimp cakes ) Total price - 4, 350 THB (143. 40) Seafood was fresh and delicious, and the taste of Chef Andamans cooking was wonderful. I don't know why, if you covering South East Asian cuisines, especially in Thailand is the most interesting content for me. The foods, the family, the hospitality is just so wholesome. Great video Mark as always.

You obviously care more for your stomach than the environment. The farming of large tiger prawns are well known to be the cause of the destruction of mangrove swamps.

In Singapore we love our chilli fish and chilli prawns which are smothered with blended chilli (chilli crab sauce is different. It is a pleasure to watch Joel eat too

That's quite possibly one of the most impressive meals I've ever seen I don't know if I could eat that dish that was 95% chilies though
