Follow The Hungry Tourist: Subscribe for 2 new videos per week: For this Japanese food yakiniku beef video, I was on the Best of Tokyo Food Tour with David from The Hungry Tourist. His tours are one of a kind and focus on deep high end food For more details check out The Hungry Tourist: Instagram: Facebook: Nakahara ( ) This Japanese food wagyu beef yakiniku meal was one of the best meals I had during The Hungry Tourist best of Tokyo food tour. Having the chance to sit chefs counter while the chef himself cuts and grills each piece of meat in front of you, was extraordinary. Nakahara is regarded as one of the top yakiniku, Japanese bbq, restaurants in Tokyo. The owner / chef takes has dedicated his life to perfecting yakiniku (and his flawless deep fried wagyu cutlet sandwich as well. When you eat at Nakahara, you can go through a series of courses that cover the cow, from the tongue to the intestines to the sirloin and skirt steak. The tongue was amazing, the intestines were a little on the chewy side, and the wagyu beef was insane. Eating Japanese food yakiniku and premium wagyu beef at Nakahara Restaurant in Tokyo was one of the most memorable meals Ive had. Thank you again to The Hungry Tourist for inviting me on The Best of Tokyo Food Tour. (I didnt personally pay for the food in this video. Instagram: Facebook

We had tried the Sumibi Yakiniku Nakahara and it did not disappoint. The service by the staff was impeccable. From our arrival, telling us the various upcoming dishes, parts of the cow, the cooking methods, source of ingredients to sending us to the lift after we finished. You did not even need to pull out a credit card at the end as it will be processed online. We requested for the legendary wagyu tongue (subject to availability) and beef sandwich on top of their standard menu. Everything was in high quality. It was the best meal of our life. If there is such a thing call food perfection, it exists somewhere in Japan and i think i found it in Sumibi Yakiniku Nakahara.

This is awesome As every video. However I also miss the street food clips. Because back then I could actually go there and have the same tasty food. I could never afford most of the meals you eat in recent videos. It does make it less interesting for me. The best mix would be one/two street food places and one/two fine dining places in each video. Still, I will watch every episode because I truly like you, Mark. And I like food. :)

All I know is every Tour who charges, Mark should not mention them. You know, free advertisement. Why would Tour Co. /Org. charge Mark, they know for sure their going to score. I don't think they charged him BUT. if they did and Mark's fans gets the truth about it, their not going to use them. After all Mark gives us all the names, addresses, etc. to go on our own. I dont say this to be arsehole but im really confused as to why people watch this guy? ive watched a few of his videos now, and literally every single reaction is exactly the same, close eyes while going owwww, and then rolls his eyes, surely people are watching to know if the food is good or not? this guy would react the same way too a cheese sandwich.

I'm watching your videos for the last several months. I love the way you present with extreme caution, enjoying and reviewing videos of different cultural food items And I always hope that I would like to be in your position and have the same kind experience. I'm so happy to watch your videos. And lastly, Say 'Hai' to Micah

One thing I don't understand is why japanese chefs never fully cook any food. Its looks great but that steak sandwich looked like a honk of raw beef with a breaded outside. Fill me in please lol

Awesome food experience, you did not mention what the cost was, as I am sure it was very very expensive, lol. Thanks for sharing, it is definitely amazing to watch. April 25th 2018 today.
