Mark my favorite videos of yours are the ones you have done in African Countries. I plan to visit the Continent one day; but you really need to go to Jamaica, our African-ness is evident in our culture. Dishes to seek while you are there: Breakfast food: Rundown a few types but choose the one made with red herring (trust me); Akee and Salt fish, you want it cooked in coconut oil, both of those dishes with dumling and (food) they will hook it up; Liver and banana + dumpling and or Yam; a multitude of porridge too many types to list so, find as many as you able to and treat your taste palet. Lunch and dinner foods: Curry Goat with (white) rice or food; curry chicken make sure there are chicken feet in it also white rice or food with (cornmeal dumpling) in this case; Jerk chicken; Jerk pork; Stew peas and rice (white); Oxtail with rice and (red) peas, washed down with a frosty cold Red Stripe Beer; Red Peas soup; Gungo Pea Soups; Manish Water aka Goat soup; many more soups to choose from; Beef and veggie Jamaican Patties; Peppered shrimp and Crabs ready to devouer from the street vendors, in fact set aside a day for Sea Food; Busta is a great candy made from coconut, ginger and sugar; If you can find Asham, it is a great treat for little and big kids like myself; Pastry: Gizzada; Coconut Drops, made on banana tree leaf; Pudding; Bun and cheese; Bulla with cheese or Pear aka Avacado, are some Jamaican favorites; A smorgasbord of seasonal fruits that are literally the best tasting in the world. So much to eat I havent tapped the surface. Must have Jelly Coconut and Sugar Cane and at least 5 kind of the numerous types of Mangoes that are in season, East Indian is one of my many favorite mangoes. There is your road map go and explore. Jamaica is all about food, music and love for life. We will be watching Bon Appetit Mi Bredda.

There was kinda like really nothing that authentic or indigenous about these meals. French fries and Samosa and grilled fish with chicken? Stuff u can find in most countries. Was hoping for authentic Rwandan food and not something western. Disappointing.

Wow Every time I see him going in on so much unusual foods I cant help but fear going to the bathroom for him. I love hot Indian dishes but I always know that a massive toilet episode is coming after my meal.

So every food in Rwanda is mmm ah So good? Come on, be more objective. I lived in Rwanda for 5 years, and it has a lot of great dishes but certainly not every single thing is incredible.

Kigali is so beautiful - years ago I spent three years in East Africa and there is nowhere that compares. The natural beauty and the fact that places are so well kept and clean makes it unique.

I love you man, eating all that food and giving us such wonderful menus across the world. I am Ugandan you should try matooke or green banas steamed in banana leaves. With curried tilapia.
