i was born in amsterdam and gosh do i miss it. but seeing this video it will be soon i go overthere. the people are like no place else like you said. i live now in the sout part of the Netherlands and although it takes no mire thenn 2 hours to go there, there alway's seems to get something what keeps me from going there. In the summertime it is even better. and yes the Albert Cuyp is so nice to walk over sinds they sell really all kinds of foods clothes and so much more. anyway i loved to watched this video.

Lol, I live in the NL for 5 years, and I couldn't find anything close to be dutch culinary culture, but the three things described here: stroopwaffle, croquettes and herrings (ok also stampott. -There are very good cooks and restaurants around here, but the average stuff that people cook, let's forget about it.

and when visit the netherlands dont you forget to visit the voedselbanken in every town every village on each streetcorner you will find the voedselbank because the to far created poverty in the netherlands. the dutch gouvernment welcomes you at every voedselbank.

I went to this little pancake shop when I was in Amsterdam, they served it with maple syrup and a cold glass of milk, it was the best pancakes I've ever had, something about the dairy there that is very delicious.

Born and raised there an that is not the farmers market haha. They got good stuf butt if you see the dutch Farmers market theres lot more choice and fresher vegetables -Greetingz from amsterdam
