What a wonderful documentary. The Chef is such a kind man who has a real gift at lifting the spirits of beautiful people who have lived through trauma. His love of people through their food is so warm and genuine. If everyone had such a spirit of adventure and appreciation for life, the world would be so much better.

Absolute gem of a documentary. As a French, I have to say that the Italian chef, speaking perfect french with a thick italian accent and congolese intonation was one the WILDEST things I ever heared in my entire life. People are amazing!

Congo foods are so underrated. There's a Congo cuisine restaurant near my apartment in NYC, and I LOVE it. Go there twice a week.
