The best tacos in the world: Al pastor in Mexico city. They are far better than the adobada tacos but some common ingredients (in many cases both versions have axiote but adobada is mostly axiote andcondiments and al pastor maybe have some axiote, but many other ingredientes too and at the end a slice of pineapple on each taco. The secret: the marinated sauce. --Charco de la Rana's tacos al pastor in San Angel, Mexico city, to me are the best.

Hijole. Los tacos al estilo D. F. no tiene igual. Aqui and lo EEUU tratan de servirte al pastor, pero vale madre. Los unico lugares que conosco que lo hacen con orgullo, es en Los Angelse - King Taco o El Taurino. Fuera de esas opciones, se queda uno querieno y deseando. Chingadera los tacos dorados con queso y lechuga. Que mamadas son esas?

Tacos al pastor is my favorite. They are x10 better then a taco of asada or steak. Just amazing. If you haven-t gone to Mexico to try them you-re definitely messing out. The meat is like butter just slides off. Simply amazing.

Now I'm craving some alpastor tacos. I live in El Paso TX and I drive across the border to Juarez for the best tacos. I spend up to two hours in line to come back to the US but its well worth it.

The really skilled cutters first carve the meat into the taco then slice the pineapple which rotates at the top of the grill. The slice falls a foot or two directly onto the taco.
