MUNCHIES Presents: A Night Out In K-Town

video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
New York City's Koreatown is filled with food, fun, and lots of alcohol. Our host Naomi Shimada heads out for the night with Pablo, known to many as the King of Koreatown, who takes her out for a night of Korean barbecue, karaoke, and watermelon soju. The night begins at Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong, and then the gang heads to Pulse Karaoke for singing, wings, and beer. To top everything off, the crew hits Pocha 32 for a hollowed-out watermelon filled with soju, makgeolli, and a take on kimchi jjigae with mini hot dogs, Spam, ramen noodles, and mozzarella

A few problems with this video: --First Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong is not even considered anything special in Korea. In fact, the one in Gangnam went out of business several years ago. It's decent, but certainly there are better Korean places in NY that have. --The self proclaimed king of K Town got friendzoned by that girl. Kings don't get friendzoned. --The guy thinks Itaewon is a city. It's just part of Seoul. Budae Jjiggae originated in Uijeongbu, north of Seoul.

If the dislikes were because they didn't choose any good places to represent the -K-Town- in NY I would understand. BUT the fact that all these dislikes are due to a host who -talks a bit funny- or doesn't look like a VS model is just shameful and pathetic. She was fun, bubbly, open to and even enjoyed all the experiences.

Boodae-Jjigae is not originated from itaewon. It's from Uijeongbu which has a U. S. army base. There is NO U. S. army base in itaewon! Remember, these guys probably spent all their lives in the states. They are Korean-Americans so dont ask them about Korean cultures and traditions. Googleing is the way to go

damn i thought munchie watchers were live and let live liberal hipster types but they are some seriously angry people. The host wasn't the best but she looked like she enjoyed herself and that's basically all i want to see in an episode of munchies.

Having lived in New York for a short time, I think Koreatown NY is more like a tourist spot where a lot of the stuff is overpriced. If she really wants to see the authentic Koreatown, she should have just gone to KTown LA

so many haters who can't like the fact that a girl is just having fun, drinking and enjoying what looks like really delicious Korean food--its not her fault that u live pathetic life lol

She's adorable, enjoys good food and seems really happy. If only a fraction of the misogynist douche commenters could be more like her instead, YouTube would be a better place.

Everyone hating on the hostess but what about the King of Koreatown. V neck pretending to be straight and constantly trying to talk over the host like a twink in training

First stop in the morning after waking up is the toilet. I know they must of destroyed that toilet. That food made my butthole burned just by looking at it.

I feel like this girl is on her way out and her dream was to have her own night out in K-Town and munchies and make a wish teamed up to make it happen.
